I finally got round to playing the game since the patch, started a new ML in Top Player, 9 minute matches, -1 speed, manual shooting.
I'll just say that as I waited for the patch I played half a season in League mode, 10 minute matches. There's no Team Spirit in League mode. By the end of that half season my scores were only very slightly higher than normal, so I reduced now to 9, but they were ok, nothing too shocking. It was fun and realistic-ish.
Now in ML: playing with only a couple of players that add a couple of OVR points each, no big deal. First 2 or 3 games are ok, but then as my Team Spirit gets in the 90s and it seems almost all other teams in my league remain in the 70s, I start getting ridiculous scores, like finishing 1st half already 4 or 5-0 and so on.
If I change my tactics to bring my Team Spirit down to the 70s, that stops and it's either no goals till the end or maybe I take 1...
It's too much. I thought when they said they'd change how GK is affected by Team Spirit this would be it, but no (btw, also can't tell any difference in GK improvement and fouls being given, seems the same to me as before)...
So as before, I'll have to go up to Superstar and put up with the scripting to get realistic scores :erm:
