Regarding all the free agents that are due to be deleted in this month's patch (Van der Vaart, Toni, Klose, Pablo Osvaldo etc), is there any sort of 'plan' on how to retain them?

You can put them on whatever team.....you don't even have to save your roster, but put them on whatever team you wish, maybe all of them on the same one....and export the team. Then reload your roster.

Take these steps.

1. Put players who are to be deleted onto, team of your choosing. (Do not save OF)
2. Export team. (Do not save OF) (This will save the players)
3. Reload roster. (This will reset teams to before the transfers/export)
4. Go and play til the patch.
5. Install Patch.
6. Import Team from step 2. (Do not save OF)
7. Transfer players to another team, which you will use as is, in it's current correct form, in your current OF. (Do not save OF)
8. Export new team they were transferred to. (Do not save OF)
9. Reload roster again, like in step 3.
10. Import team from step 8.
11. Release players from imported team in step 10, or transfer to where you want them, which will make the team from step 7 back to your original setup/squads.
12. Now SAVE your option file.

Best of luck. I will be doing this as well.

Clean install

Hi guys, quick question, tonight I am going to do a new install of PES for a friend. Should I grab all of the Konami updates, live update info and DLC before I install this OF?

Or should I just ignore the Konami live update?

Is it okay to put v4 on a usb-stick and afterwards simply overwrite with 4.2 or do we van to import all v4 data on the PS4 and do this with 4.2 accordingly. I now executed the first procedure by only overwriting on the usb. Thanks!

Thanks Valencia, damn that's complicated!! I wish Konami would just keep the preset faces, but due to what they refer to as 'license business' (I reckon they use Google translate for their communications), this won't happen.

They have been doing this for years, and the only reason we haven't lost these players yet is due to their 'Live Update' workaround this year, which enabled them to sync online with offline rosters. The drawback is that we don't have many faces that were in PES 2016 (Dante, Castaignos, rod Fanni etc), but we do still have the preset faces for players who were in the launch game framework but had retired/moved to clubs outside of the game (Van der Vaart, Osvaldo, Luca Toni etc).

They will 'correct' this imbalance later this month, but nothing official yet. I suspect that players unconnected to teams in the game at any given time are a legal dispute waiting to happen for Konami, hence their caution.

Where can I find a list of players to be deleted in the update?

How can I transfer Alex Morgan's face/body to PES 17 from FIFA17? Doesn't have to be PES solely, if you know how to transfer her face/body to my bedroom that might be acceptable too.

All free agents will be removed. We will all have slightly different groups of these due to different option file combos.

PES Master doesn't list these players unfortunately, but if you search for them individually they are there.
