You have to play lots of games and then they unlock a few of them and then play some more and so on. I unlocked my first managers and it cost me 6k GPs for a 480 Manager so it's gonna get expensive as hell but at least you can do it without real money.

I would agree with you for not merging agents together especially at the start where piling up players is a good way to get away from buying contracts. On the other hand, I don't agree at all about Fifa and not being able to have great players. The market helps you doing that just by selling...

There is unfortunately no such thing as offline divisions. Single games only.

Yep. Select the play Vs COM option. It's in the middle portion of the screen under the Match tab.
