I completely agree with you and the lack of possession football from the AI is what have disturbed me most the last years. There is a patch called Shollym patch for PES 6 where the patch maker has tweaked the CPU to play much more concidered football, so if a random patch maker can achieve this...

Yeah, its certainly worth a try to remove those bars. The game feels more natural. A thing I noticed is that you gain more control over your players and can send them on runs easier. Don't know why but it also becomes kind of easier to dribble past opponents..

Ive noticed that some of you have found out ways to make the computer AI play better, by adjusting certain options on edit mode and the teams game plans. So, Pes freinds, do you have more tips how to make the AI play better, by editing team styles etc.? :) thanks in advance

Player stats are compeletely f*cked up. Go to www.pesstatsdatabase.com and edit prefered teams from there, according to their stats making

Go to edit mode and player edit. Choose a player and then open basic settings. From there you can change if the player is going to be DEF/BAL/OFF. Before you could change chis during or before match but now they have moved it to player edit.
