I might "annoy" some people but at least I speak the facts, unlike you with your ridicilous statements how goalkeepers in a game that get a goal 9 times out of 10 from a shot outside the box ( assuming the shot goes left or right ) are good enough and realistic.

Indeed. But if people are having that much difficulty with it then maybe Konami need to adjut it slightly. But not too much or it will fu*k things up for us. ;)

I can't remember but was the shooting "manual" on the original game pre patch? To me sometimes they shoot in the direction you say but other times like most here state the shot goes wherever. I hope this is a fix for the patch....

Does anyone know if they will include 2vs2 online for the XBOX 360?

I know there is no mention there but seeing as "The update is in response to user feedback, and reaffirms KONAMI's commitment to improving PES 2012" and this feature is in the manual so basically it was left out by mistake/carelessness, this should be their priority?


Can people please bombard Jon Murphy on twitter: @JonMurphy_PES and the FB fan page and whatever else can be done, even if this doesn't affect you.

Something that is in the manual should be in the game. Irrelevant of any/all of the gameplay issues.

^^^ I could have sworn I read on here from a replied to email by konami saying that it's an issue with Microsoft as to why it's not included on the 360. I really doubt they would have just forgotten the feature considering it's on the other platforms of the game

Yes please fix the shooting and add some weight to the shots. I don't feel a connection to the shots like I did in pes 11.

I agree, this a good sign that they are seeing the game has some issues and are willing to address them rather than just leave it as is. I look forward to how the gameplay will be tweeked.

We should get some friendlies in tonight if you're available, how did you do on your other league games this week?

yes for me the top things to fix :

1. shooting
2. tone down speed merchants dribbling and change of direction ability ]3. tone down close ball control
4. make takling more effective, this along with the toned down ball control and dribbling will make the game much more balanced
5. reduce online speed
6. ppl complain about the goalies, so they should look at tweeking them too.

I guess that would cover it, if they could make adjustments to those areas I think PES2012 could be an awesome game. To me its still very enjoyable and Im loving playing it, especially in community setting and vs friends online... but fixing those issues above would make it that much better!

still can't get them in - I see gatsu lives in New England so is connection problem all makes sense now - they got hit with two feet of snow and more people without power than the summer's Hurricane. haven't even seen jonbaldi in the community.

not sure I will be on tonight - 10th wedding anniversary.
