Fro studying various pictures and video footage it is clear that sometimes when a freetake is to be taken, there is 10 men in the wall. Why? I didnt buy 2008 so i dont know why this was. if there was 10 men in the wall then shouldnt the freekick be taken short, leaving about four players against the keeper. am i missing something?

yeh i know, just like in the trailer where messi heads the ball from 1 cm off the ground right next to the goalkeeper whilst the defender just stares.

if the game was realistic at all then the players would stay on side! 10 man wall, this is the most stupidest idea that Konami have ever had! What will be next- touchdowns???

It's just Konami showing that you are now able to change the number of players in the wall, albeit a little over the top...!

couldnt have said it better myself. it is simply to demonstrate YOU choose the amount of people in the wall, you can have non if you like, alot of people dont even seem to know about it or use it, but when there is 1 guy in a wall for me i usually change it to be non but ive never used 10 other than the first time i played taking the piss, the computer never change there wall quantity so you really have nothing to moan about!

chinaman you make a point thats nothing to do with the thread, i think i may compile a list of all of FIFAs faults and just spam on here like you do to PES, oh wait i have better things to do.....such as sitting around scratching myself

The game is alway's pretty much unplayable when you don't change something in your tactics. That's what you get when you don't have a manual....illegal copy

I thought it was a good idea to set how many defender will go to the wall. They will leave it up to you to make it realistic.
