2-on-2 with your mates

I play a lot of pes4, and most of it is 2-on-2 with my mates, and it's quite different then playing vs CPU, or regular 1-on-1 vs human. Does anyone else play 2-on-2 as as their primary game, and what are your experiencies with it...and some tips maybe

Playing 2 vs 2 is much better in my opinion as there is no CPU cheating - where it magically gets all teh 50-50 balls.

Had a great experience with 2 vs 2 at lunch today.
Our team was Madrid and we played against Inter. On a one-to-one basis our opponents were better players than my partner but we held on and executed some great counter attacks to win 3-0, 2-0 and 5-0. They weren't pleased :p

A good tip would be set the formation so you know where your players will be. And try to get one player to close down the dribbler while the other goes for the runners.

Communication could help but the opposition can hear you so......
Good luck!

The best tip ever. Goes to show that Zyg plays lots of 2 on 2s. Between us we play a lot of co-ed matches and tournaments. When someone says "pass!" or something it usually means that the opposition will close them down...

So don't talk. You can look at the radar when ur friend has the ball, it's a better chance you don't get easily when you play by yourself. Also don't press :square: while defending as there is your player and the other one controlled by your mate, so pressing it will definetly create a hole. Make sure you and your mate know who goes out to attack the ball and who stays back, you don't want both of you to go attacking the ball at the same time.

I allways play with my mates 2 on 2 we have a ball its so funny we just go out to snap each other or to rape them on the football field should i say or to score a magical goal we don't play to win well i do anyway.

And when one of us get's a free kick or penalty we allways put the keeper on the free kick or pen its class when you score and cech starts doing a back flip once though not too many like ciise.

I play 2 on 2 with my m8s 2, its quality, the best thing i think is making off the ball runs, you can time them 2 perfection and cut the defence wide open

I take part in tournaments where it is 2-on-2 so I'm used to this format and i can say that the best way to improve as a team is to play regularly and work out each others game inside out.. then it comes naturally and you'll be picking out through balls and passes like you would do playing on your own..

when I play 2-on-2, and pass the ball around, the possesion should switch between me and my teammate, but sometimes it doesn't...and I pass the ball to myself(several times in a row)...it can be tricky if you don't expect the ball...why and when does this happen, and is there any way to control it...ie to pass the ball to myself on purpose?

Me and my mate out do my other mates by using through balls and alot and we go a team that has a fast strikeforce so then we can out do the defenders when we use the through ball.

Definitely the best way to play pro. Making runs with your partner, pissing your opponents off, finally scoring!
Though my opponents always argue, so we only play one game! :(
