2 Things i Hate the most in PES 2011

with all the wounderfull things konami have introduced in this year version of PES, they have also produced 2 main drawbacks (in my view).

the 1st is : although it was a pleased feature to have which is linking the fients and ease them so you can simply uses them so often, but it also doesnt make sense that ALL the player (even the goalkeeper) can perform them:(. imagin that your goali can perform Ronaldo's move !!!.
what they suppose to do is link the fient for each player with his skill cards. so if he has the card for let us say the roulett then he can do it otherwise NO.

the 2nd is: as per the demo i dont know why did they removed the featuer where you can assign a player mentality to Def/or Off or keep it normal ?/. for example i want to make puyol as always with defensive mentality so that he wouldnt go forward with the rest of the team, but you dont have that anymore - i wish that would change in the final release.

so guys what do you think ???
please share with me your thoughts.

Totally agree on the linked feints. I really like the skill moves on the right analog and IMO they made it easier to do skills that way. That would have been enough, no need for linked feints and especially not that all players can do them.

On the 2nd drawback I am still hopefull that you can change it in the full game. Maybe they replaced the mentality card from last year with attack/defence awareness. At least if you look under player details you find that every player has different awareness (5 different levels).

I have not played the demo yet mate. But I can totally understand your frustration there about the faint linking system thing. I doesn't make sense at all to be able to do the kind of move a high profile player can do with some other player with low stats. I have read it in other posts and in watched people perform on various videos and it doesn't look good.
Same goes with the mentality settings. I hope they all be sorted out before final release.
Peace.

i hope doing tricks isnt all that easy on the final game. PES has always been a simulation, I dont want it to become the NBA Jam of futbal!

NBA jame was an awesome game. Ahh the memories.

As for your quarms. I agree, not played the demo yet but i can imagine this been bad. GKs shouldnt be able to hardly any tricks unless its a GK with a history of such things.

As for the mentality i think they were the only good thing about the gimmicky card system of last year. The cards were poor, really poor, however setting a fullback to attack meant they actually got up ahead of wingers on the overlap, something never seen in PES. In fact in prior PES titles the full backs not only never attacked, they tucked into the CB slot when you had your CBS there just to give the COM an advantage and make you have to drag him wide and make up the ground.

2 things i hate:

1. The games not even out yet

2. People nit-picking despite the game being vastly improved from last year

I don’t know what is wrong with some people. When you criticize something it doesn’t necessary mean you hate it. in contrary i loved the game but i want it to be much more better and realistic that’s all:erm:.

I agree that the time they put in the new extra's (ball- and headskins) could be better spend in time making the gameplay better (AI, goalies, slidings, etc.)

But... I guess when ur getting a bit bored and drunk at a friday night with ur friends... It's purdy damn funny to score a with candy ball being a freaking scarecrow, or whatever they made for the players to wear.

I think they want to keep some Japanese things in it, cause most Japanese games have these weird extra's that really don't make sence but give a lil extra amusement. I guess they added those Japanese-ish ^^ extra's in it cuz the public wants all the other stuff bended to a European style, wich happens more and more after every PES game. Even thought... WE began with the J-league.
