HAHAHA, I want to unlock boobs!
I don't know how they get unlocked, wins? Division? Difficulty? I have played less than half of a D2 season, on 5 mins, regular (just to get it out the way) and have won most, but lost 1 or 2 and drew some, I have unlocked a pair of Umbro boots, Adi Pure boots, and Nike boots.

Three pairs? I'm in the end of November, first season, D2, 10 min and top player, but I only have the first pair.. :what: I haven't had any big wins though, most are 1-0 or 2-1 wins, some draws and only 1 loss.. Maybe it's a reward for big wins?

Maybe it's a reward for big wins?Ok i started a new ML and after simulating one season i managed to get 4 boots. I simulated another different ML with another barcelona and also got 4 , one at the start , one ard november, one ard january and the last one at the end of the season. It seems that unlocking boots does not depend on any thing, it just comes at fixed intervals throughout the season. If it is 4 boots per season, then it kinda sucks cos i actually need 3 season to have my first 11 without ugly looking charcoal boots.
Konami need to do something abt the black boots seriously, they could have added in some older versions of nike and adidas boots without any stats boost. Black boots may not affect the gameplay but in real life modern football, no one wears that kind of shitty boots zzz.

I wish you could choose before starting a ML to switch the boots feature off! Also BAL mode is now ruined by this! Cause also your team mates all were black boots as well...!!
For me it's a gamebreaker and I'M waiting for Konami to sort this with a next DLC update.
Due to me being away since Friday I only got the game today and I delved straight into ml to see this whole boots thing and what's its like and................................................im on the next flight to Japan to beat the guy who came up with this idea with a very big stick!!!! I knew when I heard the idea I wouldn't like it but my god its just a terrible addition devoid of any common sense and realism!! Fair play to anyone who does like it so don't bash me coz I don't but its a major fail on konamis part and I highly doubt its something they will correct!!
Yeah and the worst part is that the development team, actually liked this amazingly stupid idea

To update, at the end of my 1st season in d2, I got 7 or 8 pairs. My Brother, who played a season with Liverpool, on 10 mins/pro has got 9 so far, in his first season. He did buy Ronaldinho, Benzema and Kagawa who all came with boots already on.
Ok i have established a closer connection of how unlocking boots in ML works. It unlocks one each time u advance through the domestic cup rounds, i did not get any boots for winning the champions league group stage, but im not sure if it does for the knockout stage. Im sure boots are not unlocked by having big wins though, i won 5-0 before and got nth.
And i wonder if the same boots can be unlocked more than once in ML? It would be nice if those spare boots that u do not need could be sold for gp.

my first game I won 4-0 got the white Puma's
Then my first cup game I won I got another pair after that the only boots I got were from players joining...
I just finished my first season winning promotion and have 4 or 5 pairs

I have a few doubles, like 2 pairs ADIDAS f50's and predators, or PUMA EVO SPEED, 1 triple of MIZUNO Morelia Neo.
Wish I could sell some for GP. My team funds are 1.76 BILLION euros.
I play as Barcelona, But I could BUY Real Madrid and a bunch of other teams with it. BUT its no use at all, I cant even buy a personal Trainer... Nada.
