2 star is way too easy..as soon as i go 3 star..the game gets too hard for me.. Sometimes i can barely score 2 or 1 goals. No matter wat team I face its so freakin hard to score..Believe me!!
Any tips will be very helpful...

erm its probably the way you play. Let me guess you like to run at the defenders and run down the length of the pitch. That gets a bit difficult to do after 2* so you should try and pass the ball round make sure you pass and have a strong defence then it will be easy

just stick with it the more you play the better you will become on 3* on this setting the computer is very defensive you'll have to work hard to break them down.

well, i think that not being able to score easily adds to the realism and my matches on 3* are always hard fought and stuff and it's always rewarding

I actually find 6* easier than 3*. The COM will trie and create on 6* leaving them open to counters etc...

I also find that the longer you set the match times at, the easier it seems to be. Which is strange.

I havent played 3* since ISSPro98...always 6*(or 5* in those early days). But i suppose all u gotta do is stick with 3*, and your skills will improve enough for u to find it easy...

3* is hard coz the com puts most of the players behind the ball so it gets hard to get into a scoring postion das my opinon anyway

welll to increase your "better" gameplay.. play HEEPS of matches with 6 star (or 5).. then when you get used to how the CPU plays just go back to 3-4 stars and you should find it quite easy.

it's about patience.. pes4 all i did was play 3 stars and it was piss easy and 4 stars would be getting owned by the cpu. then i just played as france vs brazil on 6 stars for ages.. and i eventually got used to it. now anything from 1-4 stars is WAY too easy.

I find I have the same issues on 3*, the opponent is very defensive and they seem to only counter-attack and really do not build play. I pass the ball around and switch field when the opposite side opens up, but getting the ball in the middle is very difficult. Seriously, is 4* easier than 3*? I am not allowing alot of goals in 3*, but am only scoring 0, 1, or 2. Thanks.

I actually don't mind playing against an ultra-defensive AI. Just buuild up slowly, win lots of corners and freekicks. Also, when in the prenalty area, hold up the ball heaps - the AI will eventually give away a penalty :D

3*’s is fucked I play 6*’s now ... 3*’s is shit, its neither hard or easy, less free kicks.. but all the annoying late goals scored against you!
Take Poffemans advice try 4*’s its good to break you in for 6*’s

I found when starting out on 6* you give your opponents too much respect!
just play it like its on 2* and you will get results.

in the game... it depends on the way u play.. different style can break thru different defense line... so try other stars... u will be surprised...

I have been playing on 4* and find it to be the most realistic! There is no way 3* is harder that 4*

Starting at any level may appear difficult at first...but just keep in mind that winning a PES game always involve the similar ingredients...hard work + patience + creativity + experience + a bit of luck...
