They made the players slower, but it wasn't the problem in 2008. There is way too much space. My friend came back from vacation, he didn't play PES 2008 for over 3 months. He is playing it now and winning 7-0 against Barca with Valencia. PES sucks now. It's not the game that it used to be.

lmao its an arcade game. If you dont want a nice attacking game of football then go elsewhere. Never judge a book by its cover. I'll wait until i at least play the Demo before i voice my opinion

End of the day, if i played PES 08 during the worst lag ever and stayed true to it, the new PES is going to be amazing :)

I'm not too sure about that, i think TV's play a part in the gameplay,
i played Pes 08 on my mates TV and it was fucking rapid, but when i played it on all of my Teles & one of my mates tele it was slow it was abit fast but not as fast as my other mates tele,

I thought the vids were below par. Yeah the pace has been slowed down but the same stale gameplay still exists.

Where is the overhaul that seabass promised? Didn't he state PES 09 will be built up from the ground? I cannot see much that has actually changed.

When are Konami going to realise that last gen is in the past? The gameplay that we are seeing is something done years ago just tweaked and refined. Where is the Evolution in this series?

They have let themselves down if it plays how it looks. The same animations killed the video off for me.

Oh well.
