If you haven't got the confusion rip DO NOT ask for it, use the original DVD and make a cd rip with a ripkit off lomungtung's ftp
and search for advice.
Then use the anyripkit patches from here and read page 1 to install etc


Installation

To install -> update->

1st) Apply 5.1.04.ppf with ppfomatic3 to the '.bin' file of confusion rip on harddrive.

2nd)Burn as slow as possible in nero or whatever you use.
If no joy on boot up scan for errors in cdmage then repair and/or use eccregen to scan and fix errors prior to burn

3rd) Ideally use xport and transfer the included option file '.xps' from 5.1.04.rar file.

In the 5.1.04 jonboyo PES3 patch, it is supposed to be a simple .ppf to apply to the bin. This gave me a "Binblock/Patchvalidation failed. Continue ?" error. I click to continue and then burned it. It worked fine.

I've just installed the latest JB's patch, the one with Euro 2004 screen at the beggining. Here are my problems/questions:

1 - As said in your "mini" tutorial, the patch comes with Sttutgart, Club Brugge and Bolton kits. In the team selection menu, i see the kits over Aston Villa (Bolton), PES United (Sttutgart) and WE United (Club Bruge). And thats it, when i try to edit the default kits (ex: change the number colour), the kits that appear are the one's from JB's anyripkit 1/12/03 patch.
2 - When you say "change the call name for Latvia to blank", what do you mean? Or better, how do i do that (in the editing menu whe can only edit strip and team strategy)?

Any ideas?

Brains, are you using Netscape Navigator?
If you paste the links into IE or Opera, it should download fine. With Netscape, it brings up a screen of gibberish.

I have a small problem, I just patched the PES3 game (FINALLY!!), and it works fine!! But, when i load the option file, the kits, the flags will not change to the patched one. So I started the game without the option file, kits and flags are ok, only the players real names changed back to the older names, like darits instead davids. I thought that the patch also would have real player names, so what should I do now? Using a clean option file where only the names are changed?

If you're playing a patched game, you need to go to Edit Mode and change the following:

1. Change all team kits back to Default.
2. Turn off all the badges on the team shirts.
3. Set all Club badges/flags to Default.

I've uploaded an option file where all this work has been done and it can be found in the Option File thread - to use with an X-Port.
Otherwise you'll have to manually do the changes I've mentioned. But you'll only need to do it once and it should take 30 mins max.

Anyone know a way around this, I really want to be able to play with my master league team with this great patched version.

It´s indeed strange, first time I hear of such a problem. But it doesn´t matter anyway as you need a new option file for most of the patches. This could be the source of you ML data not working anymore.

Hi Larsson, thanks forthe reply mate.

I actually tried this again tonight, and what I did was to copy my working Master League file across to a new memory card, and create a new option file there from the game.

Started up the game nicely, with the new option file, but when I try to load the Master League data, again it says File Corrupt. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem & how they resolved?
