i am getting a 360 for xmas and i was wondering if i need to buy a tv so does any one know if i would need to buy a new tv with 60 hertz or keep my 50 hertz tv ? :s

It is only 60 hertz on the 360. My mate tried 50 and it goes smaller screen and slow. So it isn't worth the risk

i tried 60 hertz with pro evo 5 on the ps2 and it worked but it was black and white any one else had that problem and does that mean my tv cannot support it ?

no on pro evo on the ps2 u picked 60hertz ntsc which is america. on the 360 you get pal 60hertz

the 360 DOES support 50hz, it is only a few games that need 60hz to run. I used to play all the time on 50hz before I got my HD-TV and it was fine (much better now though).

go into system settings on your dashboard n then console settings then display n then pal settings and change it to 50hz

I know how to change to 50 hertz but if you try to play PES 6 on 50 hertz comes an error message tellin you that you have to play in 60 hertz...
