Hey - I had PES3 on the PS2, but sold my PS2 as I was strapped, and was meant to be out of the country for 3 months, virtually until PES 4 came out anyway. So it didn't matter, as I was going to get it on PC. But I came back early, anyway, so I snapped up PC PES3 for cheap, nice.. but of course, Id meticulously edited all the teams into premiership ones before, and so on, and updated pretty much all the teams.. now I have to start over.

But of course I know about the existence of various packs and roster updates etc

Can someone give me a brief run down of these various packs - the best ones, and what they each do.. and is there an over-all one that gives proper kits and all updated info, for example?

Wolf's superpatch is the best I've found - it edits all kits, badges, team names, stadium names and player names. It changes some teams though - Bologna to Wolves, Lens to Bolton, Betis to Portsmouth and some other small team to Leicester, it doesn't change the players names though which is really annoying.
Overall though it's very good, the kits are spot on and the updated transfers (which are not-so up to date now) are useful
