I have a few questions, at the moment i dont have the game as i cannot afford it so i am relying on the demo.

So if anyone can be good enough to answer questions i would appreciate it

1) Is the full game (as it comes) practically the same as the demo2?

2) How updated are the squads and is the new patch needed for squad updates?

3) If i decide to install an Option File from this site, am i going to have to download the latest patch for it to work?

Thanks

1) Demo 2 is better, Konami has released a patch a while ago and they fucked up pretty much good features: some people cannot aim their shots etc.

2) updated well..

3) Install the option file first, and after that get Konami's patch.

Version 1.0 (retail, unpatched, vanilla or whatever you wanna call it) is like demo2. Version 1.01 (patch 1) fucks the game up severely, so I suggest staying away from official patches until further notice.

The new DLC updated most of the squads to a decent standard. What little is left can be done by yourself in 10 minutes, if you notice any errors.

You can basically use any community patch with any version of the game as you please. Edit.bin & Option.bin files seems not to be locked to a certain version of the game any more, as long as the game is from the same region. (Europe, Asia, America etc.)

one thing i noticed immediately was really how bad the keepers were after i took the patch off. shots id seen them save before they didn't get close too. i put the patch on as i needed to get points to reunlock all the stuff i lost when I deleted my save data, so started playing online again to get some pes points. but i'm willing to take it off again once I get all the stuff unlocked.

You don't need to delete your save folder to remove patch, and you can keep the DLC. Just change the exe file...

Keepers seems to be more or less the same.
At least give people the correct info, c'mon. Check out the various discussion sites around the net. People are saying that reverting back to 1.0 means you're also getting GK play that's noticably worse than the 1.01 update. It's the same lousy GK play that was present in the demo. That's what the update was for in part, to improve the GKs. But the consensus is that overall the game is still much better with 1.0 and the bad GK play, which can be fixed with edits, than with the messed up gameplay that 1.01 causes.

Anyway, I personally would suggest anyone with the PC version, download and install jenkey's gameplay patch, available over at EvoWeb. The gameplay is much improved, plus you can use the 1.01 version and still play online. You also have the option of adjusting settings like shot power to your particular tastes. Another option is yair's gameplay patch, which is or will be available for the 1.0 version if that's your preference. Both modders' patches make the game play better than any version Konami has released at this point, demo included.

the 1.01 update you can still concede easy goals if they are heading into the corner. they are just better at saving one-on ones in the patch and arguably better positioning but if you've realised they still drop shots like they used to so they are pretty mcuh the same. also i also realised, my opinion, every team is a threat lie barca as sliders odn't come into use and they play perfect footy

Thanks for all the replys guys

It does make me think about whether to patch it when i get the game eventually.

I guess it depends whether i can use an OF or not without needing to patch.
