Rather than talk about changes to gameplay or Online modes, which I feel have already been covered well in other threads, I have a few suggestions on things, which, perhaps, are not as important as the aforementioned parts of the game, but which nevertheless give the game an extra edge, in my opinion. I've been playing PES for 7 years now and have seen a lot of brilliant innovations throughout the series, which have been taken out for 1 reason or another. These include:
1) I think it was in PES2 that there was an option to play a match between a team comprised of the best players from Europe and another one of the best players from the rest of the world. This mode was great fun, especially when playing PES with friends, and it was a shame it was taken out. If it were to be re-implemented to the game, I'm sure it would be very popular.
2) The option to switch between home and away shirts, shorts and socks individually. I think this was in PES5 and it was great, because you could mix and match both home and away kits to the combination you wanted. I know for a fact that this was very popular and I'm sure it would do no harm to put it back into the game.
3) Random Selection matches. Another fantastic innovation and great for multiplayer. It's a shame it has been taken out of the last couple of PESs, because it was a lot of fun.
Other than those three I would, also, suggest perhaps implementing the option of having third kits for teams, which would link in with number 2, although I do not know how easy it would be to implement that.
