JON MURPHY TELLS A GOOD NEWS TODAY FOR PES 2010 , HERE IT COMES AS HE MENTIONED :

'' Another busy week in the world of PES. I was in Barcelona last week for the mocap session with Leo Messi. We flew in the day of the Champions League celebrations and the place had gone mad. Basically the whole of the city was out on the streets celebrating. What an atmosphere.

I think Leo was suffering a little the following day at the start of the capture session, but he put on a brave face and we got his motions. We also got some great interview footage which you'll be able to see soon on a new website.

The other big news of course is E3. Unfortunately I couldn't make the show, but I'll be interested to see the reaction to the video. It's just a teaser of course, but it has been produced from the game engine and does hint at some of the new tactical improvements. Our fans will want to know how PES2010 plays and that info is just around the corner. Expect feedback really soon now. You can also expect news on another PES endorsement player very soon.

Cheers, Jon”

I THINK IT`S A PRETTY GOOD NEWS FOR ALL OF US
HAVE A GOOD DAY

Ermm Jon mate, give me those gameplay details mate, cos like many PES veterans, Graphics and player endorsements are the last things that need changing in this game.

Ps. The fact he's asking for feedback on the trailer as if we were going to be wowed by it, is a bit worrying.

This is Good News

I think the whole trailer issue needs a slight matter of perspective. I know a few of you were disappointed that PES was not more prominently featured at E3, but why would it be? The US market is very different from that of Europe, and it is also too early in the game's timeline for a hands-on. An early version without all the AI and core new elements in would not have done us any favours would it? I remember when we showed PES5 or 6 at E3 way, way back, and people slated it for being too loose, and that comment stuck around for ages.

As such, the trailer was not there to do anything but whet appetites. The real meaty stuff is under way now. More and more information is coming through, and I am about to get extremely busy. Don't judge or write off an entire game because of, what, 60 seconds of footage? The trailer existed to A) show off the new graphics engine, and B) introduce the new, easier to use tactical elements.

Animation concerns, etc, should be levelled when a demo game has been played and seen. I know it is frustrating at this point of the PES cycle as you await new elements and info, but the danger is that innocuous things get blown up out of proportion. We have a long way to go still, and we need you all on side. Other games don't get written off on the basis of screens or initial trailers, so don't let a trailer designed to highlight two key aspects spoil PES for you.

You'll be seeing some more, incredibly positive stuff soon, I promise.

Better OP the above by far.

I'll tell you something though, I stand by my original perspective on pes @ e3.

There could have been some form of closed door feeeback session

A statement similar to this could have been realeased.

I still dont understand why they cant tell us this 'amazing' news at e3, but they can tell us pretty soon after, makes no sense.

All they need to say is, "We are hoping to do this........."

Not difficult.

Better news but STILL not convinced just yet.

exactly tech_skill. this news means nothing to me as konami crapped on the pes fans at E3.

Also, I know someone above mentioned something about the US market or European market, there is no difference. Money is money and advertising is advertising. If I dont get excited about a product, I wont buy it.
