This aint a question ata ll about level or ability, its just a question I would like answered.

I have the Network (Ethernet) Adaptor, and of course my PS2, however I do not have Broadband. When I do get broadband, will I be able to download new kits, flags etc?

And BTW I am correct in saying if I buy X-Port I can do the above?

I dunno about the first part, but i know that X-Ports only let you download/upload goals and/or option files.

An X-Port is used to transfer an option file (or any other files) you have downloaded to your memory card using the USB port.

At this point, no-one knows what the online updates will be like but I don't think they will sort out things like proper flags or kit logos. My guess is that if you fix yout Holland players from Oranges to their real names, downloading an update could change them back.

They don't have the official rights to use offical kits and things like that. But they may be able to supply player stats updates for skills and maybe appearances.
We'll have to wait and see.

I heard that konami are creating an online downloading centre for future versions of PES. smells like bullshit though

U would hope that they would say...ok we don't have the licence to do names and we know that everyone changes the names or uses a patch. So our downloads identifies the player but only updates the stats and adds new players. Otherwise we'll all be playing silly buggers?
