A Question For You All - Edited Players

When you play Pro Evolution Soccer 5 on either the PS2 or the XBox, do you play with edited players? ie if you go Brazil do you up the players' stats all to 99, or do you keep the stats as they are?

Personally, i change all the players stats to 99, just because of the simple fact that you get more out of the players and overall can have a much more interesting and fun game, ie scoring from nearly any position, having fast open games and performing tricks which 9 times out of 10 come off instead of using players with crap stats who can't control a 2 feet pass to them.

Whatever anybody says Pro Evolution Soccer 5 is the greatest footy game ever released, and those who say different have not got the hang of the game yet, it takes time to get used to the game but when you do, as i am just now doing, i am playing some beautiful football and it feels so realistic and just like a real football match.

I love the fact that most of the games are really close and are very scrappy at times, which is just what real football is about.

Well done Konami, yet another world class release, god what will the next Pro Evo be like on the PS3???? It will be mind blowing, and that's a fact.

I dont change the stats for teams like Brazil because i think they play perfectly well in pes5. your right in saying its faster and more exciting but making the stats all 99 makes the game less challenging and loses its depth. without 'tuning' your players you can fully master the game

Umm what's the point in making all stats 99? It makes the game crap, and 40 yard scorchers aren't the same when done with a perfect player.

If I feel a player has been under/over-rated, then I will edit them from an un-bias point of view. Otherwise I leave them.

Besides ive noticed that if you play with less perfect players you concentrate more and play better whereas with tuned players you expect to demolish the team making you play a whole lot shitter

i just change stats to make players as good as i think they are like r. carlos his shot power should be 98 and ronaldinho's tecnique should be 98 and why are henry and rommedahl not that fast they are the fastest in the premier league
