A request for new boots

First thing id like to clarify to you and everyone else that reads this, is that a person that is caucassian or any other race and embraces judaism (or his/her ancestors did so a few generations ago) does not automatically become a semite. Thats like saying that just because i join the black panthers i am black. Secondly, you are quite right about my reply, i do recall writing that now, but i had no problem with it and i made that clear right then and there. I also asked of you at that moment that i did not want to talk about the matter and wanted to keep our relationship free of geo-political crap. To which you replied with a letter full of geo-political nonsense. You dont recall typing..'the occupation of Palestine by Israelis is not unlike the occupation of Lebanon by Syrians...'? or something on those lines. That is enough to insitigate me to write an entire essay on the matter.
No one implied that you were being racist anyway. And i do not make boots all i do is paste them together.
Now if you still want one go ahead and post a request or drop the subject because im really not in the mood for this.

You have a slight mistake - I wrote exactly the opposite: "I do not support any occupation: Niether the Israeli of Palestine, nor the Syrian of Lebanon".

Regarding Semites, allow me to clarify: It is a race, not a religion. You either a semite or not. Jews and Arabs are ethnic groups that belong to Semites (and I speak of Jews as of a nationality, not as of a religion - Judaism - a misunderstanding in most EU countries and in the USA. I know it because I've been there).

I want to stress that I am not a religious Jew, but rather only a half-Jew half-Russian by nationality. I am not caucassian, as you already know I was born in Moscow.

No Geo-political crap was intended, only a moderate speach of multiculturalism (notice that I was very careful not to offend you by any means... I have not said one negative thing about you... only foolish and naive suggestions about life that perhaps were out of place).

I simply thought that perhaps you are tired of getting one sentence emails that read: "thank you very much for the great bootpack", from people who really don't give a damn about the person on the other side behind the screen. For that reason I wanted to get to know you better, and perhaps to learn something new.

You still did not answer me in regard to your English.
Thank you for not accusing me of being a racist, but I never claimed you did.

Thank you again and I oppologize if indeed there was a misunderstanding.

Sincerely,
Sasha

You are quite right. That is exactly what you wrote back then.

It was indeed very thoughtful of you to do that. But as i told you back then, it is the subject that bothers me not you.
I respect what you have said in this last post of yours. I do apologize for loosing it back there when i called you names. You did not offend me in any way but i didnt want to talk about such matters so i just ignored you...not too civilized on my part.

You still did not answer me in regard to your English.
I perfected my english here in Syria and not thanks to our pathetic education system. I went to an international school. The kind that foreigners that work in embassies and foreign firms send their children to. I used to go to an american university in Beirut as well.

The only jews that are semites are the ones that have always lived in Palestine or what is now called Israel or the ones that are descendants of palestinian/israeli jews that fled that land ages ago. Judaism is a fucking religion make no mistake. What you imply is like saying that catholic romans are a race of their own. Its like saying that muslims are not arabs but another race. There is no fine line between jews and semites. They are two different things. Even the term Arab is a very recent one. (actually its not.. i think its about 800-1000 years old)
This is precisely what i didnt want to get into...

Thanks man,
I'm glad the missunderstanding is clarified... I shall post the bootpack on your forum, if you don't have an objection.

I've spent a few years in America, that's where I learned my English. But I guess I didn't learn enough (Gee, I misspelled "apologize" previously).

If you wish so, we will not get back to any of these conversations... but allow me one last question for closing: Are you a foreigner in Syria yourself?

Thanks again;
Sasha.
