A small question

When you are playing, next to your players name, u can see this small status bar like thing, which i change by holding L2, then pressing either R1 or R2, can someone plz tell wat this is suppsed to do?

then if i hold both the L1 and L2 buttons,then press either R1 or R2, i see the symbols (Triangle, Square, Circle, X) next to the players name. What are these?

The first bar you are referring to should be the attitude bar for your team. Basically, it decides whether or not your team is in an attacking mood or in a defending mood. Setting the bar higher (With R1) will increase your team's attacking will, and your team will position highe rin the field, defenders might follow up in the attack a bit, and generally your team will be alot more focused on scoring rather than defending. The opposite goes when you use R2 (I think, I don't use this feature alot) to bring the meter down, your team will assume a more defensive attitude.


The symbols you are talking about are strategy indicators, which are activated by using L2 and one of the 4 buttons you describe. In formation screen you can edit what kind of strategys the different symbols will trigger. For example you can make your team attack more when you turn on the Circle symbol, or change into a more defensive formation by simply pressing another button.
