A tribute to Jenkey and now Yair - viva modded PES2012 PC

I can play the PS3 version of PES, but barely. Jenkey came along again this year and altered the game and now Yair is doing a fantastic job in morphing the game into something incredible on the PC. Together with Fire Patch, Yair's stuff is simply amazing releasing numerous patches to suit whatever you like. His current one for me, his gameplay 1.1 version, is just incredible. The player movement, the games, the CPU intelligence with absolutely minimal CPU cheating, the variation of all games, it's all wonderful stuff. So I want to say a big thank you to them, for making a whole game for me to play this year, they have always kept me on my toes.

This is a little compilation, a little is Jenkey's but most is the newer versions of Yair's stuff, to show the game off and the goals that are possible. These are my latest efforts over the last few weeks, I hope there's a nice spread of efforts there!

Which settings do you use with yair-patch? Do you use it together with Jenkey's?

Yair's 1.1 at the moment, with -2 gamespeed. I don't use it with Jenkey's at the moment, I'm just letting Master Yair work his shit lol!

There's a version 1.3 which people ar getting excited about so I'm playing them back and forth. I think 1.3 is a little tougher in terms of gameplay, whilst 1.1 is perfectly balanced and the animations are super smooth.

I like 1.1 version aside from the game freezes for 10 seconds when there's a corner. Tried 1.3 but didn't feel the smoothness I felt with 1.1.

Is anyone else experiencing the freezes in 1.1?

1.1 is bugged. Full of scripts, shooting towards the keeper, illusion that the keepers are better, dumb AI

He is talking about Yair's 1.1 patch, (his 2nd or 3rd newest) and afaik the only bug there that I've seen is when Keeper throws out to a back, the back will never catch the ball.

Official Konami 1.1 fits your description perfectly, though.

I haven't tried Yair this year yet. Tbh, I'm relatively satisfied with Konami 1.03 if not counting in Master League the AI scoring with every free kick which is an annoyance.

I am pretty happy with Konami's 1.03. Every thing reported earlier seems to be fixed. About the AI freekick scoring rate, I am happy with it as well. I place another player behind the wall and jump the wall. This makes the freekick frequency to realistic and enjoyable ratio. The only problem I have is with LBs and RBs not able to cope with the AI Wingers. Cant stop or win the ball from them which frustrates me a little.. :x
