A3!?!? A1!?!? Wtf!?

I have a quick question about something that now keeps popping up while I'm playing the game. As soon as I'm a lil bit into a match, there somehow appears an A1 or A3 or A1+[white button] at the bottom corner of the screen. can anyone please explain to me WHAT it is, and WHY it suddenly appears, and how the hell I can get it to disappear again!? cause I never used to have that A1 thing, and now it even pops up in training sessions. I dont know what it is and I surely dont need it. in fact, whatever it is, it annoys me cause I cant seem to get rid of it in-game.
Please explain. And why was it never there before, and why is it there now!?

Those are automatic strategies that you are activating.
You can change them to manual strategies in the formation menu. This will make them go away unless you press the correct combination (L2 + button) to activate them.
