Absolutely baffled by the editing system - quick question

I got the rather magnificent Wolf 2005 patch which has made the strips just about 100% accurate, but there are one or 2 tiny little flaws I'd like to correct.

The thing is, I'm quite new to all this, and what confuses me is when I go into the strip editing section, it gives me a default white strip. I want to adjust the colours of socks and I cannot see how to do this.

Why can't it just let me edit what is there, rather than making me re-build the whole lot?

Thanks for any help.

ok, i hate to say it but it sounds like you got alot of reading to do. search read these forums to get an overall idea to how all this stuff works. The wolf patch kits were manually installed using graphic studio which opens up the 0_text.afs file in your PES4 data folder. This lets you edit all the graphics that are in pes4. If you want to change the kits lets say for eg you want to change arsenals socks to red instead of white, then you would have to export the arsenal kit from the 0_text.afs file, open it up in a graphic editing software eg Paint shop pro, then use layers to make the socks a new colour. the other option is to find someone whos done the changes you want and then install that one over the corrisponding team in the 0_text.afs file. DONT use the internal editing, this wont help you, any changes you have done you should set all back to default. Biker Jim, Spark and Kel do some awesome kits, visit bikerjims hompage (a must) aswell as kels which used to be http://www.wekel.net but i dont think it works anymore. Good Luck!

why not actually look at the websites of some of the makers mentioned. They may already have extra versions of the kits with the correct socks, though you don't really help yourself by not mentioning which ones in the first place!

Go here or here
Download kitserver and kdb manager. Youll find a tutorial in ajay's on how to use them.
What is great about this software is that it allows you to choose third kits inside the game and import balls as well. It really is a must for everyone.
Then go here
Youll find a great kits selection.
