Apprently if you stand on your head in a bucket of milk it not only improves the gameplay but unlocks thirds strips for all of the teams.

I agree with you 100%!!

I played the demo about 20 times for a few days that the game came out on 1080 settings...

Once I switched to 720 the other night I have tripled my games played and loved the games!! It increases the response time. This change in settings made me realize that pro evo is back to the Glory Days.


Best pro evo of all time, all it needs is its final polishing

I love the game on 720!!

Theres no doubt this game has the potential to be better than 08 and 09 but it just feels incomplete at the moment. in terms of content we seem to be getting hwat we should have had from day one on next gen and im sure the revamped ML will be able to re-ignite my PES flame, and i dont mind people defending the demo, just dont make stuff up that anybody can see is a lie. jeez of course lowering the hd resolution effects graphics, even if its a small change.

I agree with you that the demo feels incomplete.
But as for the AI. I do not know but they seem to attack more because less freezing which is caused by slow response.
But I didn't know exactly what the original poster was referring to.:)

I think you're all crackers to be honest! I tried it last night on 720p and also turning the HD completely off! and there was absolutely no difference!
Certainly I wasn't looking at it and thinking it's made the game is better?!...what the...?

I've played EVERY pro evo since Superstar Soccer Pro on the SNES, I'm trying to get into the new demo, but it's not working, all i end up doing is putting the Fifa demo back on and being amazed by how correctly they have the player movement (the way they receive the ball is spot on!) runs off the ball, winning the ball in the air and basically everything about the way it plays! (Those who keep scoring the same goals...start playing at a better level!) They just have more animations per player... it's a fact, there were 50 more just in the Fifa10 demo, let alone 09.
Apart from the replays and close up's on Pro Evo, I can't think of anything else that good about it....even the nets look pony! (when did Anfield gain kris-cross netting....it never has!)

I think it's time to face it, all good things come to an end, I will buy the game just to try the finished product and PRAY that it can win me round, but I unfortunately i think Pro Evo will sink further under if the finished product is as drab as the demo. :(

still, its absolutely bemusing to me. why would konami do such a thing, it would have been better to hold the demo till it was a better build or not release one. I can confidently say this demo will have hurt their sales even if the final release is 10X better, which i hope it is. i do like FIFA but theres only so long i can spend playing 1 football game, it would be nice to have both of them to alternate between once one becomes stale.

I played it on my ps3 and did not see a lot of difference really, but then on my 360 at 720 it was totally a different game, it was slicker and the response times were great, this is really starting to become an excellent game again.

Also it's looked graphically ok running at 720 too. I will give the ps3 version another go aswell, hopefully it will be as good.

PS3 and 360 games are made to be played in 720 (with the few exceptions, and obviously can be upscaled from the 720 to the 1080 in most cases), so they should look 'ok', naturally.

Funny! I tried the same thing on my Xbox360 - and guess what? Not a darn thing different happened. And I was really looking hard for it. Maybe I'm not chasing ghosts hard enough - I don't know...?

Guys just found a proper fix for the response issue.

Basically, get your console or pc, load the demo, whilst the demo is loading, burn some sage whilst chanting, works every time.
