AI Not choosing the best lineups

Hello people

Does anybody else feels like this makes the game feel unrealistic and kinda takes away the feeling when you are facing a certain team

let me explain

im in the champions league mode playing as tottenham first game is away against Inter and the AI ignores several key players like Etoo, Milito and Samuel and in comes Suazo , Mancini(didint even know he played there)and Materazzi. i find this really annoying.

so i was wondering if there could be like something in the stats that can be changed so the AI always choose the best possible lineups avaliable when you are facing teams.

Yup I know exactly what you mean this is very very annoying. Pes has been doing this since forever and seriously sometimes I dunno what goes through some of those guy's minds at Konami lol. Such a basic thing to avoid or fix.

I think its improved this year, you get the odd dodgy selections but not as much as previous years, In previous PES games barca would never play messi against me or they would sub him if they were losing. There was an option on pes 2010 in the team settings section where you could select the cpu to always play their strongest team depending on form and stats, think its been taken out this year unfortunately.

I find it strange when the system does this but personally I think it makes it a bit more realistic. Let me explain by using FIFA. FIFA's AI will pick the strongest team every single game, doesnt take into account fatigue, poor form, whatever. Perhaps Pro is trying to do this?

Fatigue is almost non existent with the cpu in fifa therefore the cpu does not need to rotate its squad. PES has always done this, before 2011 the cpu had three different options on what it based its team line up on, these are mixture of form, fatigue, stats. You do get the odd dodgy decision from the cpu, however it sill has the common sense to play messi for example if he has a blue arrow, this is in my experience anyway. The cpu also changes formation dynamically throughout the season so sometimes you can get weird selections.
