I hope Superstar doesn't increase AI stats at all, they simply can outplay you like a noob.

But if you are Barca for example and play against like... a club from idk Israel they would be much weaker than if you play against a big club.

I agree MysteryMan. Agree totally that this is the way AI should play.

But I'm reseved, and wouldn't be surprised if the superstar AI would cheat & script through you. Better not to put hopes too high, so there's no dissappointments :)
Truthfully I'd be happy if the AI could cheat it's way through my defence on PES2011 already, even with the crappiest team only the attack might be problematic at the moment.

EDIT:
few things to add, I wish Konami would this year include decent celebration animations when you win like a league, or cup.

This year (and few last years) there has been like 1 animation. The guys always do the same stuff.. *whee we win the cup* (and opponent looks dissappointed). *Whee we're promoted to 1st division* (and the opponent looks dissappointed.. wtf? why do they care that much :D) you get the picture..

In one pes I recall a team captain would run around the field with a team flag as a cloak, that was cool.

Simply put I'd wish winning something would look more like an accomplishment again.

Also incredible add would be to add a choice to do goal celebrations.. this was already in Ice hockey game like year 2002 and was so much fun there. So why not add to a football game as well? You could bind different celebrations to different button, then after a goal you have small time to press the button for that celebration. If none pressed player would do the generic normal celebration.

Superstar difficulty :w00t unless the demo is total dog dirt I am officially sold on 2012. Hopefully the game was actually designed around this level and to get the lower levels they worked back.

54 days/4,665,600 seconds/77,760 minutes/1296 hours to go.

I've noticed this in previous games. It makes it very hard to wrong foot them when they can just turn form left to right so easily.

That clearly is the massive limitation of the nonexistence of movement within the space; players can only move from left to right, zig zag, change of direction that would be humanly impossible due to the fact that before changing directions human beings need to position their body accordingly, with PES and FIFA body positioning is irrelevant and limited.

As for the videos, well it looks like PES is fun again, but other than that, I cannot say it is something different or revolutionary. Hopefully, the right analog stick off the ball movement feature will be intuitive enough and practical enough to emulate realistic possession play.

This is one concern; ie ultra response times with no impact of momentum weight and body position, something pes 2011 did well even without no movement within the space, i felt the game was realistic in its representation of movement despite still being on the rails somewhat, hopefully pes 2012 won't be dumbed down to fifa 11/12 standards.

Well that's the flaw about not having movement within the space; you can either slow the response down and use the slowed down response in order to give more importance to momentum and body positioning; or you can make it ultra responsive, in which case momentum and body positioning will be dumbed down, due to lack of time.

They can improve the animations and make it more fluid, even change the engine, but it will not change the fact that the left analog stick determines too many unrelated factors simultaneously. Realistically, even if you have the most advanced animations, you cannot implement a seemingly unlimited variety of animations, simply because directing the left analog stick determines the direction of the pass and the direction of movement through space simultaneously.

I never wanted anything revolutionary, I didn't think it needed it. I think it was "almost there" with 2011. But hell, if even YOU thinks 2012 looks fun, it must be something special .
