OK. Here goes nothing.

This is a thread that will hopefully contain all of the possible information that all the noobs ask when they first come on here as they cannot be bothered to use the search function to find the relevent thread.

Feel free to post any and all questions relevent to editing and patching your game. But not stuff like "how do i make the man united kit in edit mode" as I don't know and there will be detailed thread on that later on.

Stuff like "what is a max drive", "what is a patch". Anything no matter how basic.
Ask it in this thread. I will try to answer the questions and post all the questions and answers in this first post. All question posts will then be deleted once they are answered - as people cannot be bothered to read through big threads.

If people wish to help out with answers feel free as it will be appreciated.
I will also not be answering anything to do with xbox as I don't edit that version of the game. There will be subsections to help people find their answers quicker: including PS2, PC, xbox, option files, patches and anything else we can think of.

And if people make new threads asking any basic question that has been answered in this thread then the new threads will be closed. And remember that new posts will be deleted once they have been dealt with.

Brave man !! My maxdrive arrived this morning although I've got to finish my week at this hell hole before I can get it up and running. I trawled all through these boards the other day but regarding an option file for use on the maxdrive the only one I found was the V3 February one on PESFan, has there been a more recent one with kit changes (i.e United away kit, Arsenals etc etc.) and summer transfers. Just being a lazy sod really !!

Can you patch PESKOREA's real emblem patch separately to the fernandos V5fin?

I just tried the fernandos v5 plus peskorea patch, it only includes club teams' logos not all of these followings:

It means the kits in Winning Eleven 9 have been decrypted. If you don't understand by that, it's safe to say you wouldn't understand with a more detailed explination either.

Delete it if you want to burn using Nero. Otherwise keep it if you plan to burn using DVD Decrypter as it acts in the same way as a .cue file.

But I firmly recommend using Nero to burn ISO's etc. Not "Nero SmartStart" just plain old "Nero Burning Rom".

ok i got a question i have winning eleven 9 with fernandos english translatinon patch and i have just downloaded bombillero_we9_mix_patch so how do i patch the game with this cos i dont think i can do it with ppf-omatic so if someone can help me i would appreciate the help thank u in advance

You need to get a new and clean iso from your original disk and then apply the new patch as shown in the patching guide.

Patching a patched image will cause problems and the disk will not work.

How can I change the face 3D model in WE9 (Example: Weitalia inserted Robben´s face in Wendetta 2.0 in WE8) ? When I import a file over the .bin in Graphic Studio, it just change the texture not the model.

i have 2 say i patched my winning 11 9 with the weamerica patch and its awesome champions league intro at the start is the balls plus nike footballs all the correct badges proper decent menu music english commentary all decent league badges decent add boards man i luv this place and am never ever leaving EVER

Can you patch the option file on your xbox hard disk so as to have correct player names / team names etc. , and if so, is there a clean option file available?

I don't see why this shouldn't be possible, as there should be no difference between such a file and one that a user spent months editing themselves.

I think you've got yourself confused somewhere along the line there.

Yes, correct team names, and correct player names are called Option Files, and these are changes that are made within the game, which is basically a saved game. These can be found in the File Downloads section, headered 'Option Files'.

As for patching, these are changes that are actually made inside the PES4 game data, so it involves editing graphics and text inside the game itself. These requires a modded PS2 or Xbox.

Hi Zygalski I have the Dundee kit and I am trying to place it into the game I've used kitmaster, Fireworks MX 2004, I'm using bitmap files and still can't seem to get it into the game???????????????? I have the team badge as well how do I put that in?

I know all details how to create a new intro to the PS2
version of WE9, all that is clear.
My wonder is: what video/audio bitrate should I use? I need
all details, cause my new intro is just hacking and cracking.

Im not Zyg, but try opening up the 0_text.afs within the PES4 .iso with PES/WE Graphic Studio which can be found in the File Downloads section. And then have a read of this tutorial constructed by the brilliant Ajay, in how to insert kits into PES4.
