I think he was referring to the goal scoring....not asthetic details.

Yeah, forget that PM i sent you, there is video interview on youtube, with in depth chat about the changes in relation to the vid I sent you.

All i gotta say is this, FIFA 10 has 360 Degree movement!

Sorry man, i shouldnt be saying that shit on here, but im in complete shock

once again

360 degree movement!!!!, and much more.

Man Konami need something big, cos thats a HUGE development in modern day video games.

Apologies to those offended by that comment, Im very interested to see the in depth gameplay offerrings from PES2010, but anyone who knows about games has gotta say, thats significant

To be honest, I don't think 360ª movement will make the game much better... 360 Passing and Shooting is great -but- is 360 Movement really necessary??

I'm intrigued by the 360ª movement -but- I'm more intrigued by PES10 as I don't know what to expect and Konami haves to deliver this time.

It's looking like we will have 2 great footy games by October. I will just buy one as I don't really like the idea of spending over $100 on Football games.

But people do get offended mate, cos we live in a world of fanboys who can't be objective about 2 games.

Now go and play with your seabass dildo.

Take care.

My seabass dildo? So you're calling me a pro ev fan boy? Erm, my first point tells you i'm not a fan boy! God, talk about idiocy LOLOL

europa league licence?! this should then give us 5/6 prem.iership teams
You know they cay't, so why bother saying it.
Get Germany licensed along with Bundesliga would be Better rather than champions league orr Europa League. Few countries i would to have licensed
Germany, Denmark, Russia and Switzerland. Also England League License would be nice too.

So german teams are more prestigious than europa league?
I don't think they are. I like europa league.

I think i might get one, but knowing me, ill just have to try PES just to see what the deal is.

But 360 dribbling is a brilliant idea in principle, thats what everyone is talking about right now, despite the other additions too.

The only reason I mention this on here, is that its pretty unprecendented in the history of football games as far as i know certainly recently.

I mean the question now is, Can PES survive with 8 directional movement??

Does this mean Konami have to give more directional scope to compete this year??

Its a very legit question, because if pes 2010 has 8 directions of dribbling vs 360 degrees of dribbling, its in serious fucking trouble.

Oh and the point of it, is to increase attacking options, you can now find gaps between defenders and into space you couldnt find before because of the limitations in directions. I think its very nessecary and if done properly the first step towards complete 360 degree in game movement.

It also proves what ive been saying all along, PES simply going back to PS2 days is gonna get itself murdered this year, it needs new innovations.

^You know that fifa has exclusive rights to EPL until 2014 right?
So no more than 2 teams licensed.

The thing I truly hate on fifa 09 is the lack of responsivness when dribbling (takes ages to do it) and the shooting.

Well there are three things that make the dribbling too slow imo.

1. Game speed. An obvious one.
2. People always holding onto speed burst, not realizing the ball's not stuck to your foot. So to do a move, you'd have to actually time it right. Timing is the key. I wish I could upload some of the things I've done, but even though I've not mastered dribbling and skills, I dont have a problem witht he responsivemess... but more my timing, and choice of dribbling.

Well just two.

^Compare Messi in reality vs fifa 09 messi. He is really much faster with the ball than on fifa 09. Even if the game speed is slow on Fifa, the dribbling move takes too much time to take effect.

You mean dribbling on Fifa is more difficult then PES? If you time turns correctly, you maintain momemtum and Messi can fly down the pitch. Current complaints about Fifa seem to be the same complaints Fifa fans had about PES back when it was good.

Konami said:
We aim to make PES 2010 a more user-friendly, immediate experience that places the emphasis on getting straight into the gameplay for which the series is famed.

This is the problem the series has had of late... it's been dumbed down.

I dont understand it when people say they have problems dribbling in fifa 09.

To me its simple, with practice, it works.

I murder the CPU with Robben, Giovinco, Bojan etc etc.

Its the same with going past people, its far easier in pes to fly past about 3 defenders, in fifa you need to be able to time the pace control button, the directional angles you might have to tap the pace button during the run rather than just holding it down.

And regardless, EA are bringing out 360 degree dribbling for fifa 10 anyways, cant wait to see people criticize it and talk about how pes 2010's 8 directions is more realistic.

lol.

^NO, IT'S TAKES TOO MUCH TIME FOR THE MOVE TO BE DONE BY THE PLAYER. This is the obvious. I am stating a complaint that currently is not a minor one. It is STILL UNRESPONSIVE. You just need to admit it. I am playing fifa 09 more than pes now so no fanboy comments.
Infact I have be a pro with messi. Started it yesterday.

Hey, i'll admit it, there is a minor delay from button press to action your player.

As for how fast messi ruuns with the ball in real life vs fifa 09, thats what the game speed is for no?

points taken regardless.

Just to say fifa 10's default gameplay is meant to be slower than Fifa 09', I think some of the fifa player said it was a bit quicker than it needed to be, I agree, because i have my speed set to slow on fifa 09. But I doubt they will sort out the delay for fifa 10 to be honest.

We shall know more on on june 5th about both games as we finally get more details on exactly pes 2010 is gonna be about.

Some people will say that once you get used to it, it is not that unresponsive -but- IMO FIFA09 is simply rubbish in that respect.

Even when I master it to perfection, it just doesn't feels right, it feels too over-worked, and at times it feels like Scoring Goals - it feels repetitive.

I just don't like the Delayed-Times when Dribbling with players like Leo Messi, and I don't like the over-worked Right Stick antics. It's a poor job in my opinion, the controls are not intuitive enough.

On the other hand, like some people say PES09 is a "dumbed down" game... it's really boring and unlike the PS2 versions, feels very repetitive after a few plays.

Well, I wasn't talking about the player's speed. It seems fine to a certain point. I was referring to dribble speed. It's so slooowww. I just don't see this happening with messi too. I could see it happening with del piero (slow but good dribbling) but not with messi. Mesi is a fast paced dribbler and unlike in fifa 09, he just stop to dribble (sort of). There's no delay in reality (with messi ofcourse).

I don't know about other people... but personally, my problem with FIFA09 is not that dribbling is hard, it's got more to do with the fact that I do NOT think it's good enough nor responsive enough.

It is repetitive and too over-worked and kinda restrictive... I don't like it. You cannot Improvise with it in the same way that you can in PES09 and PES6.

I believe tricks should be done via The Left Analogue + Shoulder buttons. This would mean that your Right Thumb will almost-always be free to kick or pass the ball right after the dribble.

Their Right Stick Dribbling trick concept feels like something that should mainly be used in the BAL mode -but- not in the Classic Gameplay where you control all the players in your Team and play from a Wide View Perspective... we should have to focus on more important things.

I don't have anything against FIFA... but I do feel that the whole "360 degree movement" thing will fall on your face. Perhaps it doesn't, but you speak about "360 degree movement" like it is a milestone -when- it is NOT.

360ª Passing and Shooting is great -but- 360ª movement?? There are far more important things to improve in FIFA.

I do agree however, that 8-directional is too old for today. Perhaps 16 directional movement would do the trick. I honestly don't see Why 360ª Movement is necessary.

yea, i'm wondering the same thing.

there have been countless times when my defender is running alongside an opponent and i try to move to cut off the angle but the 8-way thing sometimes is too restrictive.

also, free 360-degree dribbling will be so much more fun.
