Help required - Millwall Fan

I have downloaded the Championship file but the Max Drive (Xbox) does not recognise the file even after unzipping.
When I unzip I have a folder Paul B's Championship Option File 1
I have used my Max Drive for other files today and all seems fine

Any ideas will be gratefully received

By the way all code junkies files are zipped and you don't need to unzip them!

By the way all code junkies files are zipped and you don't need to unzip them!

To quote what smc999 said earlier in this thread, this is what you need to do with the XBOX FILE:

You need to unzip the file with winzip. Then right click the UDATA file and add to archive, which will create a zip file called UDATA. This can then be dragged and dropped onto the Action Replay card using the supplied software.

In other words.

1. Download and unzip the file
2. Make an archive (zip file) of the folder called UDATA
3. Drag this newly created zip file onto your maxdrive using the software.

The same method does not apply to the PS2 MAXDRIVE file...as that can just be unzipped and then all you need to do is drag the .max file onto your maxdrive.

You can lock the shop items if you want my loading up the OF in the PESFan Editor, clicking on the PES / Shop tab and selecting Lock. Then obviously save the file and transfer it to your memory card.

And no, no memorial data is present.

i arent a newbie mate, i just dont usually come on this site i am from PESFan

and when it is locked can you then open all the stuff that you want it is just i dont want classic teams and players!

what are the leeds stats like?

hey paul b, im really impressed with the championship option file but was wondering: whats your next project? hopefully you can make a League One option file or even SPL- preferably League One so we can have the Spireites in-game!

1. I am not sure how to unzip a folder, what do i have to press to get it to unzip.

2. If i have done it right it says it is not a valid xbox save p.s i have checked it was xbox

i made reading myself and you can get some good likenesses with the preset faces too

To unzip a file you will need WinRar or Winzip.

Then you need to follow the instructions in my previous post to get the file onto your maxdrive.

There is nothing wrong with the file itself otherwise it would not be working for others. Have you unzipped the file and followed the instructions already posted numerous times already?

Right i'm a PC newbie, after many years of ps2ing. I don't know how to get this file as my new option file. I've downloaded it, unzipped it and it comes out with one file called konami-win32PES5OPT however my pc can't recognize it. I only got the PC version the other day, so can someone give me a step by step guide please?

Which version of the game do you want the file for? PS2 or PC?

You need copy the file entitled KONAMI-WIN32PES5OPT and paste it into the folder KONAMI > Pro Evolution Soccer 5 > Save > Folder 1

It will ask you if you want to overwrite the existing file, which you should select yes.

This particular Konami folder is most probably located in 'My Documents', and not the one in C:/ > Program Files

But not Paul B's? PAul B's save seems to just be a zip file in format they are stored on the Xbox not .MAX files or anything, so I assume it has something to do with compatibility with my version of the game?

Am I doing something stoopid? If not what do i need to do to get it to work? Is there a converter util or an editror I can use to cut and paste Paul Bs changes into a option file that does work?

Any help would be appreciated.....please......I am desparate to play some championship footy with PES5!

Brilliant mate, i have just finished editing parts which i find a bit dodgy on the leeds kit if you dont mind me saying, would you like me to pm you with the changes? otherwise brilliant, oh the leeds stats are a bit dodgy aswell, but i think that every one is going to say that about their own team!

and i have edited all the boots with absolutes two sets of F50 +'S(8 ALL together) Diadoras, umbros, vapours, puma kings!
