I get the testing network enviorment problem. Sometimes the message disappears and the game freezes. I have a netopia wireless router. Can anyone help?

I've registered up and everything, got my handle, password and all the details etc. but when ever I go on to the Network on PES, I go to connect to the lobby with my p/w and handle and it says "An Error Occured During Verification". Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? :mellow:

I just get the same old message about "unable to transmit through port" whatever port number I try. The connection goes straight through the router with no firewall or blocking or anything to get in its way. Help? Please PM me with help!

I've got a letter through asking me to confirm details on yourgaminghandle.com, I've done that and can log in there and that too but it still won't let me Connect To Lobby without it saying "An Error Occured During Verification". :angry:

Has anyone experianced the Network Error -(603) whilst the DNAS is being authenticated?

This is really anoyying and I woul love some help, here is my situation. I have been playing PES5 online for about 3 months without any trouble. But now when I can connect fine, but then when it gets to the Verifiying DNAS section it hangs around for ages and then it comes up with the messege:

"Network Error -(603)" then "time limit exceeded" or something along those lines.

Can anyone help please???

I have a wireless router downstairs and a usb thing in my pc which gets the signal from the router.

How would i connect a ps2 network card thingy to it ? is there any threads on this ? Thanks

I think you might need a wireless gaming station. I have a Netgear machine which can be found here. That seems to do the job, but isn't 100% reliable. But I don't think you can get complete reliability through a wireless network.


Also my problem posted earlier has sorted itself out, weird.

hola name i think your problem is that it isn't connecting ... cuz that most likely to happen when u dont have a connection
try connecting directly from the modem and see what it does

If you are talking about the link to the netgear that I posted, yes I use it.

It took forever to set up, as it does this weird thing where it turns itself off and then on. This meant that when first registering the PS2 online at "centeral station", it took forever to get the right setting and pass all the tests.

But once you have a working setting saved it is fairly neat. I can play Pro Evo no problems. I can also play Tony Hawks Underground, Call of Duty:BR1, Conflict:Global Storm and Burnout:Revenge without any problems.

But it just can't hold a stable connection when connecting to Starwars Battlefront 2 or Smackdown vs Raw 2006. It connects but when you first choose to connect it turns itself off and on, so I am always told that I don't have a network cable connected. This is a bummer as I get this message when connecting to the Star Wars and SVR lobbies, whereas when I am playing one player the machine shows itself as connected.

(Anyone with any suggestions on this problem would be much appreciateed)

Obviously if you can connect straight into the wall that is the best, but the Netgear will do its job if you need it to.

I would give it 2 out of 5. But as my only way to hook my PS2 online is through this method I would give it a 3 out of 5.

problem with online registration PES5 PS2

I have been trying for days now to registrate online for PES 5. Everytime I fill out those fields including email adress I get unable to register.

What's up with this?? Everything is allright, I have an unmodded ps2, original pes5 game, network adapter and I get past the DNAS verification. But I cant register, thereby I cant get to play online. Can somebody please tell me whats going on? This is going on for days now.

Is there a problem with Konami or what? Is there someone who has more info about this registration problem because I would really like to play online

A lot of the time its due to the username already being in use, or its less than 8 characters, try adding one or two random numbers at the end of the username.
