All Time Favorite PES

The title says it all.

I've started playing PES since the fifth version on XBOX and that's the one I like most.[Thanks to Meyyappan]

What about you guys?

I'm gonna have to say PES4, i bought mine in Mallorca so it had a different cover, so it was kinda special

Also it was the least flawed

Pes 2008.Much better than pes 6 and AI cheats less especially when you play with not such powerful teams and if you play well unlike pes6 you can score with players that have less attributes(abilities)than your opponent.

PES1, 2 and 3 were superb. The matches were a tad dull at times in PES4 I thought, but it was still awesome. 5, 6 and 2008 have all been let downs in certain respects, but they're all still excellent titles. For me, it has to be 2 or 3. Might have to go on a second hand mission.

Could you? How did you go about doing that? I do remember a freind of mine scoring a free kick from about 30-40 yards inside his own half on the left flank, it was amazing a total fluke.

I started playing PES from PES6 on ps2 and i think the best game is to me PES6 and PES 2008 but only for ps2!

PES 3 was awesome i loved the way you got development points and could build your own player ligitimately.

Winning Eleven 4 on PS1, I spent hours and hours playing it 7 years ago.

I also loved PES1,WE6(Better than PES2), PES3 and 5.

I agree with Kev, the third was the best to date. The new game is the most frustrating game I have ever played.

A fine example would be that whilst I am playing good football, defending well and enjoying shitloads of possesion, I still find myself conceding loads of goals, even though I restrict my mates efforts to long range. I have scored five legit, beautiful team goals and his five goals were blunders from the keeper - Three were simple catches fumbled and the other two were parried saves right to his forwards feet.

Ill be trading in 2008 as soon as Guitar Hero III is up for sale without the wireless guitar as I already have one from the 3nd game.

I started playing PES5 on PS2.
Not much different between PES5 and PES6.
But I'll choose PES6.

To be honest, as soon as the new edition comes out I tend to forget about the main gameplay features of the previous versions. I usually end up judging the game on which crop of players I remember most fondly. As a result, PES4 is the best followed by PES6.

Tricky one this, I could say 2 or 3 cos i loved them, but every year when a new version came out, I never went back to the previous one, so I don't know to be honest.

If I had to...I'd say PES3
