Annoying stuff about Become a Legend

Have u ever joined a good team like ManU and found when u are in the bench or starting, the whole team starts to under perfrom and u end up drawing or losing the match and the team finishes 7th in the league???
Annoying pussies like Puyol getting a red card every 2 matches?
Retarded teams who lose at penalty shootout after both teams missing 4 consecutive penalties?

Well, jus wondered if u guys have the same annoying problems i have when playing BaL.

Liverpool won the league three years straight.

I join we finish 7th.

that was my last season in BAL.

I said fuck it retired at 26 as the highest valued player in the world with no stat over 84...

Not to mention any team I played on COULD NOT complete a game with out fucking up some how. Red card, penalties, missed open goals, etc...

BAL = EPIC FAIL

Yeah it's annoying. Your team will start to loose when you enter. But I think that this gets better if you play better.

so far (only on my 3rd season), all my teams have done better thanks to my involvement. 1st year with West Ham, we finished 5th. i left them and they finished like 12th the next year. 2nd season joined Twente. we were 5th when i finally made the team and we ended up finishing 2nd and winning the cup. this year we're in 1st almost halfway through the season.

Well, u must be playin it on regular. Almost all the good teams i joined perfom badly.
I once joined arsenal as a winger and we finished a meagre 7th place compared to 1st last season and i was had 10 goals and a few assists.
Then joined Juventus whom screwed up at my arrival which left me pissed.

When i was 17-22 i had the same issues everyone is moaning about. Joining a great team who ranked 2nd in the league for example and when you play for them they rank 7th... but when barcelona offered me a contract i was 23 years old and they were ranked 1st in the world, nothing changed and we still rank 1st and my age is 28 and we won countless trophies and now i'm thinking of moving to a weaker club in order to feel some challenge.

P.S: I play on Top level.

my legend is aged 22 WF , been with Chelsea a season and a half and just started the latest one. We've won the league twice, won the masters cup, got to the final of the champions league only to be beat by barcelona 1-0 (of course I was tempted to replay but having already won it with the magpies I was more arsed about winning the masters cup that season) and won the league cup twice.
BAL can be a frustrating experience, the AI can be woeful at times, but it really is affected by how YOU play.
I agree that you should be able to hug the touchline and watch as your top flight team stroke the ball around, pulling the opposition apart at will, but surely there's more reward in directly affecting the play.
I've witnessed some pretty appalling AI in this game, but I've also had my team mates pick me out with some beautiful lofted thru-balls that, if I've finished off, have had me bellowing at the screen.
The rating system is flawed but apart from this and the occassional moment of AI madness I've found this mode to be a seriously addictive and welcome addition to the game. I've not even touched the master league yet, and I've been playing this series back in the days of I.S.S

Ive only played one season so far on BAL and we won the league. I don't play on top level or anything like that but I have some annoyances with BAL actually its the A.I not BAL itself. Just the A.I being stupid that's all Shooting the ball right at a defender instead on passing when im open the pass back to the defense stuff like that. Over all i think BAL is very very good. But like i said i dont play it on top player so maybe if your having problems on top player try it one level down and see if that fixes it. Overall i dont think BAL=epic fail. Yeah it might have some kinks but hey look at the other option you could always play 4 seasons of be a pro in FIFA!

i joined man city first

played 27 games first season we finished 13th took me ages to get into the first team i didnt ever score in training and didnt score in loads of matches but i got going adventully and scored 7 goals in my first season and got 1 assist

next season i played 35 games

scored 13 we finished 6th which we qualified for the champions league via a big a group qualifying round in which we were drawn against barcelona florentina and someone else

the 3rd season i played 44 games and scored 24 goals

we won the champions league and finished 4th in the league

then i got an offer from man utd so i moved there

first season played 35 scored 13 but played very well 16 man of the match awards and we won the league

the next season i scored loads and got 26 man of the match awards and we won the league the champions league and the d1 cup

I gotta say I love the BAL mode...I aint even played master league at all since I bought the game (the first day it came out)...but here are a few gripes...

Sometimes I could throw the pad at the screen when one of my defenders has a bit of pressure put on him but has an easy pass but instead hoofs it out of play.

When you are in the midst of a flowing move but one of your players just walks straight into the oncoming player and loses possesion.

Too many transfers involving your player...once I got the move I wanted though I stuck with the mighty Spurs (its actually best to just stick with a team, get a regular place in the side and wait till your team comes calling)

having to prove yourself in reserve matches each time you join a club (I can understand a real young player having to do this but not a 23 year old who has scored 23+ on the back of signing for you)

Managers tactics suck..I am a free scoring AM and when he brought me off the bench on 74 mins (was suspended the game before so he chose to bench me) against Arsenal in the last game of the season at 1-0 down he put me as DMF!..to make a total mess of the game, he then brought me back off on 76 mins to make way for another striker!!

Not enough transfers to other countrys, the only team I will leave Spurs for is one like R.Madrid

last but not least...THE RATINGS SYSTEM!!...I have been top scorer in the league the past 2 seasons, am a regular for Russia and even got to the final of the Euros with them but my rating VERY rarely go above 7.5 and I hardly ever make team of the year.

here are my ratings for my player..he is 24 at the moment...sorry bout the rubbish quality but taken on my camera phone...BTW..I play on top player difficulty and to all you people who bitch about some other people playing on regular cause when you join a team they suddenly under perform...ever thought it might be because your not that good at the game?..thats why when they buy you, you mess up the team.

trust me sometimes I find that your team mates are the annoying ones. Usually when I am in open space, I called for the ball, they turned around and passed the defending MF or DF. seriously WTF?
