Any Chance to Score from Corner?

Hi, I've tried million bananas with Figo. Anyway, NONE of them went in (Only hit the top post). My question is is there a definite way to score from corner? Figo's pretty good at curves (left corner only). Please help out a 3 star n00b here. :eek:

EDIT: Oh this is Winning Eleven 8 by the way.

Yes, it's possible but very difficult. I think it's a question of luck. You have to press :circle: with up in the right direction a bit less than half bar and then curve the ball with left or right. Other good players to score from a corner are Roberto Carlos, Rivelino and Robert Pires. If you want to see goals from a corner go to this site: www.issextreme.net in the goal of the month gallery.

Yeah Before I had to delete memory on my PS2 for other games I made a player (Lauren Robert) and scored a corner with him. You need Becks free kick and corner style I think.

me and my brother score them all the time, we dread it wen 1 of us gets a corner, we could be there for ages because the keeper always puts the ball back over the bar for another 1!! then as we keep trying we score alot!

just let u no if u hold triangle wewn sum1 tries to score one they cant score ;) just to give u a upper hand on ur bro

I've scored twice from corners, once yesterday infact...all you have to do is get someone with loads of curl....then stop the power bar at half way or under..then let the keeper fumble it in... ;) btw cheers for that thread Ash I'll check it out..

i've scored a few with Robby C. I think you can avoid the triangle thing stopping you from scoring by putting the power just over half way and curling it to the back post. The most perfect one i've done went off the back post and in.
