To score easily:
- Try dribbling the goalie by using the feint buttons (first hit the shoot button, then the cancel button when the goalie goes down.
- Goal by chipping the ball. Just when the goalie goes down, hit the shoot button and while the gauge is filling up, hit R1 so you'll do a simple chip over the goalie. It boosts up your Shoot Technique and Technique skills in ML mode.
- When taking a corner (either way), just hold the UP arrow while you fire away a corner kick, keep holding the up button while using R2 to make the player follow the ball and once it reach a suitable height, hit the [ ] button for a solid header into the back of the net.
- Players with good Shoot Tech. and Shot Power skills can fire a shot from 40-50m... Use training mode to practice this to its best and it should work fine. Just keep in mind the when you shoot, keep holding the curve button (UP arrow) so it will fly over the goalie, and keep in mind that the goalie should be about on the tip of the 18m when you take a shot, otherwise the goalie will either catch the ball or hit it over the bar.
- In ML, try training your players every now and then to prevent their stats going down and to keep their condition up and tight.
