Any tournaments in Kent??or How do i set up 1??

Basically you need to organise:
a venue,
a few PS2s,
TVs,
maybe a couple of extension leads,
and copies of the game.
Then advertise around to get people to come. Posting on all the PES-sites will let more people know about it. Set up a new email address which you write when advertising about it anywhere so people can contact you. Organise it for a weekend probably - but not during the FA Cup final or some other major event.
From experience, you'll get more people to come if there is a money prize for the winner (and maybe also the other finalist). But it depends on whether you have to pay for the venue or whatever. Maybe go to a local Games shop and see if they'll let you put up a notice about the tournie.

5* is best.
10 minute matches make the whole tournament take a while but most would agree that this is the best time for a match. 5 minute matches are bad as they are just a race to see who can win 1-0 most of the time.
Usually you get the choice of national or clubs teams. Then let everyone choose whichever team they like. Or get them to bring their own Master League team (loaded on the Default settings so that if they've changed the stats it won't matter and everyone will play with the default player stats).
You can draw teams out of a hat in a world cup style and seed the groups according to player ability or the quality of the team. But people usually need time to practice with new teams so maybe pick the groups a couple of weeks before the event.
National teams is the most common choice.
Fairest option is to use no option file when loading the game. Unless everyone uses the same edited option file. I don't like playing with the default kits but playing on edited files gets you used to adjusted stats too. Maybe someone should create a good option file where only the kits and club transfers have been updated and not the stats.

I went to Bluewater on Bank Holiday Monday. Good day kent isnt that good really coz no bloody tournaments happen here!! iv never even played the demo thing to get into the tournament, coz the tournaments are to far away! but i class myself as a good player!5* is nothing i need a 6 for any type of competition, like i was barcelona i beat real madrid 9-1 then 7-2! although barca are soo damn good to play with!!
