Anyone had this free-kick problem?

I've been playing PES4 since Christmas and still every time I take a shot from a free kick with a left-footed player, he just does a little chip that goes barely 10 yards. Am I pressing something I shouldn't be? This never happens with right-footed players. And if I elect to tap it to Roberto Carlos for instances, he usually shoots, but otherwise they just chip it.

Any ideas?

Hold down up and hold r1 whilst you hit it, it will just hammer it...

Thanks, I'll try that. So I presume that precludes curling it though...

It's just weird that it's only with left-footed players

What can I say, most people on the game are righties, so after they made all the badges they needed some sort of food break in which they tried to make the leftie freekick system (with their left hands, because they were holding their bagels with the right)

yeh i agree with pablo diablo, my joypad also suffered from 'leftism', at first it was just left-footed free kicks, but now its spread to other areas of my game like goal kicks, and attacking down the left wing...

No, it ain't that. I've had that problem too, it's because most people who play pro evo are right handed so if they use the analogue stick (like me) they accidently hold it too far down so it just does the chip shot. Use the d pad mate, or just focus on holding the analogue sphere upwards.

what is the easyst way to score a fk and how plz.

That really depends on where its from and whos taking it!

Tapping 'O' works well at short range right in front of goal.

Holding R1 and shooting up half way on the power bar with a bit of curl is OK for getting it in the far corner.

And there is apparently another good technique of holding up and R2 but I have never had one if these go in yet.
