Has anyone got the Pro Evolution Soccer 2 Cheat CD - http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00007FP4C/ref=sr_aps_videogames_1_2/202-1275914-5387022

I suspect some people will have it, but is it any good? And, is there anything better?

At Amazon its £7.99, and I'm gonna order some CD's from there, however if you spend over £25 delivery is free, so I was thinking about getting the Cheat CD to bump the price up.

However, as you can see, theres a few mixed reviews up on there, so can anyone help?

mmmm, to be honest, I spent 5 hours editing names before this was out, so it doesn't bother me, but to be honest, i'd save the 8 quid, and put it towards PES3, not worth it at this time, you've only got about 6 weeks now to wait for PES3. And I think that deserves a 'yay'!

A better option would be to get an X-Port instead. Then you can download option files for PES2, PES3 and loads of other games. Plus these option files will be much more up to date than the one on the CD.

Just read your post on the X-port Zyg, and it seems worth the while, at 18 pounds, it's worth it, so I will have to say, go for the X-port Definetly Maybe.

Edit: Just ordered an X-port, cheers Zyg :)

I was thinking about that, but I'm a bit of a thicko when it comes to that sort of thing, and wasnt sure about it.

Dont you need to get your PS2 chipped for that? I bought my PS2 about 2 years ago and rarely play any other games apart from PES/PES2, so I havent bought any add ons or anything like that (apart from a memory card, obviously).

If the X-Port is fairly cheap then I'll definitely go for it. (I read the sticky thread about it and it said you can get them for £18 which would be reasonable, but I wouldnt want to pay for any further add ons)

Cheers.

You don't need anything else like a chip to use an X-Port and there is no further cost.

If you need any more info just ask and we will try to help out. Most of the info is in the X-Port thread.

I don't have a X-port but I am planned to buy it. So i read something about the x-port. It is just a sort of adapter to connect the PS2 with your harddisk of your PC and it has nothing to do with chipping.

Hope it helps you.

Thanks for the help lads.

One last request, has anyone got any screenshots of the sort of stuff you can edit. I know you can edit kits and badges, etc, but is there a limit to how much you can change, i.e. could you say, completely redesign a kit, or just change it to the templates already in the game.

Sorry if that didnt make sense like. ;)

You can only edit stuff that is normally editable using the in-game edit mode.

Unless you are into patching a Winning Eleven game but that is totally different and much deeper.
