Are Konami Rushed Or Just Careless ?

Pro 5 is great don't get me wrong people, but how do they miss so many obvious bugs and what not. Like the weather in the ML how do you miss that. Surely when testing, this should have become noticable after 5 games easily. Plus people are saying about only one team walking out on the entrance scene, another bug which shouts in your face "hello".

Online is another great feature but i heard on the xbox it was near impossible to find a game (dunno if thats been sorted now). Once again shouldn't this have been tested ?. The same company that makes the spotless Metal Gear and then leaves so many bugs in Pro. Last year on pro 4 their was that glitch of keepers standing their and watching 1.4mph shots roll past them ?. Another pro 5 story is somones keeping disappearing (wtf was he signin autographs or just gettin a quick bite to eat) in the middle of a game ? , come on konami you make a great game, surely 99% of bugs should be detected. If EA can make a spotless game then surely konami can.

Sure i understand a few things get through, but the weather thing is crazy. Konami's prized ML and they didn't see that. Like some already said theirs nothing better than playing in the rain, or even seeing what sort of effects the snow would have brought with it.

I Just wanted to see what do you think about the bugs left in the game (s)....

The best glitch I have seen is when the ball flew about 1000 feet in the air during a tackle, the screen went blue because it was in the sky, and it took about 30 seconds to come back to earth. Quite weird.

konami do seem to miss alot of obvious pionts which i find annoying such as villarreal having last years kit and at the end of a club league you don't actually see your team lifting the trophy. The weather aspect is also disapointing although i have heard that there is a way around that.

Yeah I agree. I know game developers have tight deadlines to stick to,
and no game is pefectly coded but some of the mistakes are unforgivable....

But I forgive them! Why? Because to me the game is better than the last (which is the whole point of yearly updates)

Would you rather have yearly updates with bugs that don't change much, or wait x years for a game that will still have bugs in it no matter how long it takes.

id rather wait a few years myself....
then they couldnt take £30 off me every year for a game with bugs in it and just £30 every few years instead.

cheers

Maybe with time to come, you will be able to buy a game like PES5 initially and then downloaded updates for it.

That would seem to be a logical step...

i do think sometimes that they must play the game through so you'd think they'd spot them but they could release a patch for the pc version i suppose. but all in all it doesnt really bother unless they are really glaring bugs but most of them are minor so it doesn't bother me.

The weather bug...do you mean the weather is always fine and never rains or snows? Cos thats really annoying me. In ML and league modes, the weather NEVER changes and that was supposed to be a major improvement in PES5!

Is it good playing in rain or snow, cos i will never know?

To answer your question wrigh2uk, I think Konami are careless.

They know people like us exist. We're going to buy the game anyway.

This is why they "allow" so many bugs in the latest release of the PES games.

Which is the way to go around the non-changing weather mate?

^ nope and i doubt their'll be a patch for ps2 and xbox users. seen as you can't edit coding on the consoles but you can on PC's

I get so frustrated and p***** with the game at times because it's so biased towards the computer off topic has anyone got and e-maill address for konami i just want to send them some ideas for the next game?

another thing that really annoys me is the time of day games get played during league mode. how come it seems every 1st league game of a premiership season is played at night! and how every champions league game is played during the day. i mean i know its not licensed but surely you can at least try to make it a bit more authentic. it totally ruins the experience of playing in europe. the weather thing is also a joke. and dont get me started on the crowd.

it just proves that fifa is the better "experience" great stadiums, great crowds, right times of day, different weather conditions and great atmosphere.......pity it plays like a dog.

konami have HALF of the game spot on, admittedly the most important part, the gameplay, but the attention to detail in other areas is so poor
