Are you Frustrated with Konami?

no, because they have decided at last to listen to fans and the main concerns that the fans have voiced have been implemented in the game, making it more advanced. of course, many improvements can be made, but its a good start so far. as long as we give our ideas to KONAMI, we should be able to buy the perfect game want in 2 or 3 years time, knowing that the hard effort put into the production of the game was, at the end of the day, down to us.

First of all, did some Mod decide to close the voting on this poll? This site is filled with nothing but B***shit Konami propaganda now. This website was started for the fans and not freakin Konami...so why cant we as fans voice our opinion on a sub-par f*kin game.

The last time i checked the commentry is still garbage, the gameplay has gotten worse with stupid response times and the goalkeepers make more mistakes than Ben Foster on weed! Konami dont give a damn about us fans and cant even be bothered to respond to the criticisms of the game to their fans.

Why frustrated?

ok maybe they should somehow let us know on this site that they are listening to our opinions. but you think that new features such as the 360 control is a coincidence? i mean even fifa09 didnt have it, so they cant have copied any other game
you cant expect them to add every single detail that everyone has been posting on this site straight away, its just not going to happen. if they did implement all of our ideas straight away, there would be no PES10, maybe not even PES11, we would probably have to wait for PES12
if you dont like PES10 and cant see our ideas started to be implemented in the game, then i suggest that you stop playing the game and not to post on this site again!

As far as the game goes, Im not sure about you but I can only see cosmetic changes. The commentry is an issue iv been hearing people moan about for years probably since pes6 in fact and it hasnt changed (in fact some lines have even been recycled). The gameplay is largely the same as it was on PS2 despite the fact we now have next generation consoles. The animations are exactly the same as Pes6.
The 360 control was added AFTER EA had announced that they were incorporating it into FIFA10. Now perhaps it had already been in the works, but they had no intentions of including it from the start otherwise that would have been a HUGE selling point amongst their first press-releases about the game. In that respect I honestly think their hand was forced on that one ad they had to include it so as not to appear inferior marketing wise.
Now i know we cant expect them to add everything I agree with you there. But at the moment there is no way of identifying what they have done to begin with. Thats kinda worrying. Maybe you feel the game has improved...fair enough I respect that.
Its just hard to be patient when they never asked the fans for soo long and now they are in a hole they dont respond to the fans either.

if KONAMI are still listening to out opinions, then they now have 12 months to do something about their next game. if there isn't much new in the next game, then i will go by ur side (^^). lets just wait to see what happens.....

I think that they focus on the gameplay to much. Konami tries to make the game as realistic as they can but is this really the thing that they should focus on? I don´t think so.
Pes6 has been that successful because every single game was unique and innovative.
Pes6 is still the best version and i don´t understand why Konami is not able to get it done like in the good old times.

What gets on my nerves is that Konami have felt the need to change things that did not need changing in some instances. I mean, since Pes6 they have steadily started messing with elements of the game that needed no improvement whatsoever and it has hugely unbalanced the game. Goalkeepers is my biggest example...i mean the GK's where fine. The were steady and if something spectacular went in you knew that the goal was earned.
Then came PES2009. I have never been able to run around the goalkeeper with soo much ease like in that game. The GK's went from being terrible shot-stoppers to completely being out of position to make saves. In some instances they would almost freeze as you ran past them at the right angle, they would rarely dive at your feet as well.
It really got me mad. If it isnt broken dont fix it. Its things like that that actually started making the game as bad as it was. I mean...PES became about exploiting the weaknesses in the games code rather than about beating your friends. I dont know what they do in the Konami office, but you have to think that there is something seriously wrong with the way they are approaching how they make the game...and that is being reflected amongst us fans and in sales.

why do you think every game was unique and innovative, because of the gameplay. I despise how much attention is applied to online gaming. I would honestly swap online gaming altogether for a great pes.

PES 2010 is rubbish, rubbish and more rubbish. I completely agree with people saying that when something isn't broken, don't bloody change it! It's so hard to get this into Konami's thick skull.
Cheating AI -- ****ty teams able to keep their possesion with ease, scripted gameplay, rubbish keepers, rubbish refereeing, ****ed up penalty camera -- come on, isn't it enough there's hardly any chance for penalty in the game -- Konami had to ruin it with nonsense camera view and controls!, rubbish animations -- seriously, the animations hardly changed from the bloody PS2 era!, frustating delay from the time you push the button to the players finally taking action -- WTF?! If I wanted to shoot the ball into the back of the net, I should be allowed to do so, not 4 seconds later!
The ML is rubbish too. Why is it so hard to get players I want? Why can't I bid for players? If I wanted to pay 200 million pounds to get a player, I should damn well be able too.

I'm really frustrated because there doesn't seem to be a way to stop classic teams that I've unlocked from participating in the World Cup. I mean I don't see why my current England team should be playing alongside an England team from 15 years ago. I mean that never happens in a World Cup and it shouldn't in this simulation of a World Cup either.
I guess I could delete the whole game from my Xbox 360 and start again, but that would mean losing all the new players I've created.

The main frustration I see is lack of progress and the fact they are actively ignoring thier fans - email KONAMI, dare ask if they will bring out a patch to fix the referee. You won't get an answer - they actually ignore you!

It's the same game with better graphics and updated stats. Even the commentary is the same, word for word.
They have spent all thier time and money making it look nice but when ppl are pointing out the gameplay is getting suspect.... silence...
