Hi

what ever the way I use Argentina, they seem to be a team not as good enough as the mentioned teams ? is that true ? corrupted defence, bad distibution,etc....

and what is the best formation to use for them ?

Thanks alot...

there good they have tevez and messi I think england and Argentina are equally matched but idk I could be wrong.Formations are usually based on how you like to play and where players should advance and etc.

England are so overrated (sorry but it's true). Argentina are good in the game. They're not superb but when you learn how to play with them, they will be awesome. Try Messi and Tevez with a 4-4-2 formation.

Individually, each player isn't particularly overrated, but the teamwork stat on the game doesn't mean anything really when you play, so England play really well, whereas in real life they have a lot of problems with working as a team.

^That's what needs to be fixed. English players are fast so in Pes 2008 they will be excellent. I hate that because all the other stats are not important.

erm... a great team like england or brazil??? uh... clearly you haven't seen either play recently....

oh in PES... well... I think the current brazil team is OK (as far as the players attributes), if only PES had auto updates or something of the like

What console do you have? On the PS2 version I had of PES2008 speed was certainly the most influencial attribute (though not as important as you've made it out to be), but on the PS3 one, Body Balance, aka Strength is much much more important, a player with over 90 Body Balance can play successfully anywhere outfield.

^I played both the ps2 and the 360 versions (same as ps3) and yes strength does matter, but speed seemed more important. For example Juventus are not fast on the game and if you play against someone who has never played pes and he takes Man UTD, you will barley beat him and he can run past you with Rio Ferdinand. That's unrealistic.

I think the Argentina is totally class, i always play Argentina vs Brazil and trash Brazil's ass, but one day i made a mistake and used England vs Brazil, I got trashed 8-2

But Rio has a lot of strength. Strong players on the game can literally get past anyone, but if you have a weak player who is fast, such as Shaw and Shimizu, they can't really run past anyone without getting pushed off the ball.

I'm with Red Owl on this one. Speed is good, but power is greater (bit like torque vs bhp in cars).

Obviously the ideal is to have both, which is why certain players (and Mourinho's Chelsea) are (were) so bloody annoying.

Argentian are not a powerful team. They are excellent passers and technicians; I'd consider them a more demanding choice, as they are a team with no outstanding attributes, but a lot of good ones.

One of the reasons I never play with them is because I think they're only team that really, really don't get on with a back four. I know it's irrational, but I think it's true....
