Arshavin is as ridiculous to play with like Messi and Ronaldo. Ribery and Robben can be counted to that too. Whenever I get to play people in MLO with more than one or two of them at once, I just quit them cuz I know how the game's gonna work out at the end: Pass to one of them and abuse the fact that they can run endlessly long without losing the ball at times. Arshavin sucks most of the mentioned players because the other you can injure at times so people get a lesson. Which lesson? The lessons you have to have to realize that with true skill you need none of these players to win.
I don't know how others may see it but I just buy players in MLO that have a distinctive behaviour and some individuality in controls associated to them. I already owned all of these mentioned players too, each one for some games except Ribery for some 200 or so: They are so boring to play with, no skill needed at all... Then I really prefer having more average players than these robots. Any win is based on skill then for sure.
If the argument is to have those rocket-sprint players because it suits ones style: OK, buy Elia, Sanchez or those in all other stats average English like Walcott or Lennon. With them you can prove how skillful you really are in such a pace.
What I experienced too, was that most of these "Top 20 player only teams" users generally suck at the principles and mechanics of PES. Therefore I find it always a bit funny and somehow reasonable for them to have these players. But I quit them anyway because I don't like to lose from AI/CPU-enforced goals which definitely happen more often with those players. It may be hard to believe when I admit to quit those people but I really prefer losing to someone with Minanda, Ordaz and Dodo who achieved his goals with effort. Even though that doesnt happen too often *g*
