I see your point, but passing to a player you just sent on a run is a bit obvious don't you think?
Try sending a player or two on the run, pass to another player and then to one of the two you sent running. Just a tip that works almost too well, especially against human opponents.
Usually, I only set on the run my attackers - that are being marked by his deepest defenders; which means... if I set him on the run, he's just one step away from going offside: he turns around, and starts running. It takes about a second for him to turn around and start running and I must complete the pass by the time he starts running. So at the time I pass the through ball, he is facing the goal while the defender marking him is still facing me. Works perfect, as it takes a while for the defender to turn around 90* and catch up with my attacker who is already in a 1x1 position - therefore, in this instance, seconds matter.
And about the 2nd trick
damn I thought I was the only using it haha. It's genius. See because if you set a player on the run and you pass him the ball, the defender marking him is ready (by default) to interact. Now if after you've set that player on the run, you pass the ball to a different player and then do a 1-touch through ball, your opponent is basically defenseless, his defenders are having a hard time getting to that ball as it's coming from a different angle than they anticipated. Damn this triangle is genius
@abu I agree. I just don't get it why would they do this. We have plenty of feints we can choose from, why implement these default ones that can't be deactivated? In order to avoid these, you would have to be quite super fast in pointing the right sticker to the desired player and pushing it. I often need more time while pointing it because i want to do it right; eventually if you miss and set a wrong player on the run, you cannot set another until your first player's finished his run. Another stupid thing if u ask me
