BAL player improvement!

I have been battling through BAL. I have to say that the first few seasons can be a little tedious, but when you really start to improve this mode is absolutely fantastic.

I am now half way through my third season, and have been improving fairly well. However all of a sudden my growth line is starting to straighten out. I am quite away below the dot, which I believe is to signal where you should be. I have been playing every week, scoring goals and getting very good match ratings.

I have even tried to redistribute some focus points, but my stats are not really improving. I am only 19 and still quite a raw talent.

Has anybody got any ideas as to why?

Don't take the line seriously. I'll go up again. For sure. The dot is what counts. Play better in every match and try to get good results in big competitions (scoring or assisting is better) like CL.

Yeah, the dot is your current ability and the line is the expected course of development. Your dot is above the line as you have developed faster than standard due to match experience points you have earned.

I seem to remember in 2009 that your curve did start to level out durin season 3+4 and then got a bit better for a couple of seasons later.

On the BAL main menu go to Player and then Individual Information. On page 7 there's the growth chart with the dot there.

The BAL improvement period comes in waves. You progress like hell the first couple of seasons, then it takes a slow turn for a couple of seasons before your second wave. After that, I've experienced it's pretty even until you start to get a little old.
