BAL question - Re: Player stats

Hey just got a question.

I'm having fun playing as a striker for Feyenoord right now and am noticing my stats quickly raising, the thing is, I don't want to become a legend! I'm ok with moderate stats just raising up to a good level with time instead of going up to a rediculous level. I enjoy the challenge more.

Anyway, when you reach the later stages of your carrer, (let's say over 30 or so) do your stats:

Start to come back down?
Just stop moving either up or down?
or Just keep improving?

Just wondering because depending on the answer I may chose just to go with 1 trainning bar for each attribute, that should really slow down my stats right?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thx folks!

They begin to level off around 27, then eventually decline over time, but not rapidly.

It depends on what you call extreme stats...

90s? Above 95?

Also, what difficulty level are you on?

my BAL is terrible, its my second season and im with UD Almeria, la liga. im a AMF yet my stats are really rubbish. whenever i score, my stat doesnt go up, its the bar that goes up which eventually changs my stat. but my highest stat is stamina at 80. everything eles is terrible in the 50s,60s and 70s. any hope for me?

I'm glad to hear that, I share a similar opinion. I want to become good but not too good. It takes away the challenge of it. It should be made to be extremely difficult to become a World Class player.

Also, being able to play well with a player with lower stats shows your a good player.

I'm still curious what game level we're talking about here. Top player?

Also, I would argue that I wouldn't worry so much about your stats, but rather how you play the game. Try not to take advantage of the game by dribbling through everyone with cuts and fake shots, and try not to score on too many headers from corners. Then, I would think that the challenge will be there regardless of your stats... at least it is for me. I'm on Top Player, Winger, playing in my 11th season, won a few trophies including MVP, European team of the year, etc, but I'm working hard for it and clearly not the best player in the world... Stats have pretty much topped out with about 4 just above 90 and nothing above 92, well rounded, but not amazing. Maybe it helps that I'm not the best PES player in the world, but I'm not too bad.

i admire the way that all of you still want a challenge. i think "iamcanadianeh" has hit the nail right on the head. dont run through the whole team by yourself because football is about team. and i say whats been said for many years: "theres no 'I' in TEAM"

Thanks Souvlaki - BTW, cracking goal by Dudu on the Weekend. Unbelieveable.

Hope they add that skill to PES 2010, though unlikely since it has probably only ever been done 2 times previously in the history of the game.
