BAL question...

Just wondering how people use there player in BAL, because I am having trouble getting th ball passed to me or the AI of my team always screwing passes/play up. I have it on hardest difficulty.

I picked AMF as my role, so how do other people play there role? do you run all over the pitch everywhere trying to get the ball, or do you say, just stand near the top of your own box (if you are AMF) and wait for the turn over to start attacking? Are we suppose to really play how you would in real life?

If your having trouble getting the ball passed to you, get into more space and call for the ball. I do tend to run all over the pitch but that's because i have v.good stamina. If you don't have good stamina then i suggest you only sprint when your team is on the break and when defending just try and not sprint and make a few tackles now and again.

if you really want to keep stamina when the other team attacks, if the ball isnt near you and its in your box, then just relax and float around the halfway line till your on the attack again.
dont stop calling for the ball, if you keep calling for it they will eventually give in and be a lot more co-operative with you (work with you more)

Yes my first game for Scotland. I was brought on at half time as Captain, set-up the winning goal and with 3 minutes to go was subbed off for a defender as the manager changed the formation to keep the lead.

I play as an SS. Playing BAL for a while now, I keep my possession in front, guarding some players so there team-mates cannot pass to them or I will intercept. If my team-mates have the ball, I will run forward and create holes so they can pass to me.

I do not always call for the ball, because I noticed that your team-mates can make mistakes, passing it the wrong way or the wrong moment. Your team-mates will pass to you without you having to call for it. Just walk yourself free of your defender. I DO call for the ball when building up an attack when I'm in a good position.

Hey I am playing it on Top player difficulty, and it took me up the 15th round of the first season to get onto the bench. Is this bad? I hear that everyone is getting onto the bench after the first few matches?

I also play Top player, made the Bench after 6 matches.

I'm a CF, I make a LOT of runs, then call for a pass and hope my team mates are intelligent enough to pass it to me. I have 20 goals in 30 this season (3rd season), my player isn't exactly great, his agility and stamina started off pretty low compared to some I've seen... But I didn't browse these forums when I started so I didn't know it was low :p

I use the wide camera angle fixed to the ball, using L1 when my team needs to defend.
