Have you guys noticed that the ball tends to float even more on -1 speed ?
I really like -1 speed as it truely captures real life speed, however, I am disappointed that the engine slows down everything in the gameplay as we lower the speed. What I mean is that while -1 speed is more enjoyable while moving with players, passing, turning and practically the MOVEMENT, it makes the already floating shooting mechanics even more pronounced.
This is exactly what I was afraid gonna happen 2 months ago when I knew this option would exist. They never do it right. neither here, nor there !

well well.. I think the ball floats a bit too much.. Especially when it bounces off ground or flies toward goal..
BUT nowadays the balls do indeed float more than they used to do. So it's not BROKEN, maybe tweak it a little lower imo, as the ball doesn't seem to have mass at all.

If the game isn't too easy in the end in Master League, I think Pes2011 will be alot of fun for a year until Pes 2012 :D. Just like Pes2010 was! I think Pes2010 was great as well.

(And I've been playing since Pes3)

if they fix the ball before release and go back to the old way of shooting and ball movement I think this could be a great game. Shooting feels fake to me, it feels like its luck everytime I score. You don't get that feeling of satisfaction when scoring like PES always gave.

After a lot of practice with shooting in the demo, I like it a lot more than PES2010 now. Shooting in PES2010 always felt too easy, like my shot would be a rocket on target even off the outside foot from outside the box or something. Sliding into the ball, while being hustled by a defender in the box, and managing to hit it so hard it beats the keeper was fun but not realistic at all.

With practice with the new system, the positioning and such of the player matters as much as how much power and placement you put on it. If you're being hustled by a defender, your balance is going to be off, and hence you'll likely balloon the shot unless you get it perfect (or with a good player). Conversely, your shot will have heaps of power if you take it while sprinting. Firing a ball past the keeper from 30 yards because my player took a heavy first touch and hence took a 3 step run-up to kick the ball feels soo satisfying!

What game speed level are you playing?
Can you confirm the same on -1 level? a level which many put it as the most realistic simulation gameplay speed including myself. However, as I pointed out earlier, when playing at -1, the floating effect of the ball, even though it is not as serious in 0 speed, is magnified and no one can deny that. The problem is the game engine slows down everything while it shouldn't. What I want to say is that KEEP SHOOTING PHYSICS, SPEED,.... of 0 SPEED and GAMEPLAY SPEED OF -1.
Do you agree guys?

I play on PC so it's at 0. For some reason, KONAMI only made available 0, +1, and +2, god knows why. Though for me, 0 is still pretty good, since you're forced to build up play more as you can't just sprint down the wings as easily this time anyway.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if what you said is true.
