Ball selection problem

PS3 - my ball selection keeps switching during season league play - I have it set as the high-viz Seitiro but then it switches to that crappy white Seitiro. I will go into edit league/cup and it remains as my selection. I toggle it out and back to the high-viz in edit league/cup, play a match with high-viz, but after one match it changes to the white ball even though it never switches in the league/cup edit menu. can't figure out if there is anything I can do.

I am just picky about the ball I play with (sorry for double posting in PES2011 discussion thread, noticed that error after posting)

for anyone else who runs into this problem; the only situation that I can determine that causes this is using any game type data saved when the old ball was still selected for a league in edit mode.

to explain further, I originally had the white ball chosen for EPL season. I had a few seasons saved with the white Seitiro. I never finished these seasons but then switched the default ball for EPL to the high viz yellow. But what I was doing next was overwriting those files with that new EPL season rather than creating a new file. The default high viz would be replaced with the white version during the game but not in the edit league mode (that always displayed that the high viz was the ball selected). So once I deleted those season files, and wrote the next EPL season as a new file it seemed to stop......until I loaded an old saved formation file, then suddenly it flipped back to the white ball again.

So I deleted that formation file, started a new EPL season file in a new slot and I seem to have beaten it. Hopefully I am not posting here again or that means the white ball is back again. Just annoying sequence of events.

f-this,f-this I tell you. Everytime I think it is fixed the white ball shows up in replace of the high viz. Makes absolutely no sense. If you choose a ball in league editor it should stay like that, period. I give up. Konami doesn't know what they are doing.

NBA 2k12 and Madden NFL, these are the games with no ball selection problem.
