Become a Legend - changing difficulty setting?

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to alter your chosen difficulty setting after you start a Be a legend game?

In previous versions, I know you could change that setting in the master league at the beggining of each new season. Can't seem to be able to do that in be a legend...

No m8 its not, i started on Top player but found it to hard to get on the bench so started again on Proffesional and got on the bench on week 3 after scoring a hat trick in training game!!!!

Pfff... Top player is the way to go, you may start off a bit rubbish, but you'll learn and it feels better to play the game at the hardest setting.

I got onto the bench straight off... They started me in the cup and I scored twice against Liverpool, playing as a CMF! For Middlesbrough. Now I'm at Newcastle and it crashes :(

Damn..
I'm actually not that great of a player, more of a casual player (I hate playing by myself and not a big fan of online modes either, so I only play when I have friends over). But I really got into BAL mode, I really like it (when it's not crashing at least).

But, I played an entire season in... huh whatever is below the Intermediate mode, just to get through the season, check the game out, etc. Now I'd like to raise the difficulty setting... guess I'll have to start over :(

Actually, it is possible.

Right after the last game of the season, in the last week, it will un-grey the options so you can change it :)

Yeah, I started at Top Player and while I didn't do great, I did eventually make the bench and score a few times. But I restarted at a lower difficulty because I wasn't getting good ratings and I'm guessing that's directly linked with how much experience you get per match - at least that's how it was in previous PES games (in Master League, I mean).

Thank you if this is right!

Just wondering what level will make your stats go up faster?

I don't think it works like that. I think you get the same points either way... I tried Professional the first time, then started again on Top Player, didn't notice anything different with the stats.

Yes, actually, I've checked during the negotiation period at the end of the season - you can change the difficulty settings at every week before the new season begins.

In my case, I was even playing the World Cup for my National team.

Aw, shit. I just saved my game before the first fixture of a new season too. Oh well, I'll have to wait one more season. I want to up it to Top Player now that I'm used to the mode

how do you change the auto save thingy in th ML. i dont want it as its ruining my negotiation periods but i cant see an option in the general settings to turn it off?

It should say "save" right? If you press on that, you should then have "save" and "auto save". If you press on "auto save" you should be able to turn it off. I'm not 100% sure if it works, but its worth a shot.

I am playing top player, and SS...

Got on the squad at week 8...

Did well in training, scoring 3 goals, and just once had bellow 6.0 on trainings.... when I was sent out after 2 yellow cards.

Must say this is a lot of fun!
