I do that a lot. Also, when we don't have the ball, I keep tapping RT (R2) and camp around the midfield line (I play as an AMF) and wait for my teammates to get the ball and pass it up to me.

The update is definately going to change the sqad lists i.e. Berbatov at Utd, Robhino at Man City.

Surely it wont reset the legend players that some of us have spent hours on?

Of course not. Legends and Master league teams have all the data for transfers saved in the game save. This has been the case for years now, once you start your BAL/ML any changes made outside this mode have no effect upon it.

Strenghten for a CF player

hey,

I am at the beginning of my second season in BAL.
My first season went pretty well, I didn't get to play as much as i would like but the time that i played went pretty good.
I started off with Vitesse in the dutch league and i got a offer from feyenoord so i took it right away.

But i didn't really knew and payd attention to the strengthen part, so i left al the strenghten on default. But as i read on this forum i should give the blocks on the hand on which posistion im playing and what part of my BAL player i want to let grow faster.
Does anyone know the best configuration for a CF player with the strengthen?

greetings,

M.Babel

For your second season, I would say to just keep it up to 2 al the lines. At least that is what I do and I'm growig quite well. The first season all my stats have grown with 2 points and I didn't play many games (mostly substitutions).

Yesterday I started my second season. My first season wasn't very good. I started at Willem II and wasn't able to gain a place in the first eleven. In the first negiotians period, after half a season I got an offer of Vitesse, there position was 5th so I thought let's give it a chance. After playing 10 matches I was able to start in the squad. But just for one match, after my bad result I was banned to the bench for the rest of the season. Vitesse wasn't playing with an AMF position anymore, so when I got the chance to play I played CMF.

So with the age of 17 years, I had to find a club wich was sort of equal to Vitesse (Finished 9th place in the league) and played with an AMF position. I kept waiting in the summer for a good offer. Most offers were from the same (Dutch) league, so my feeling was okay with Roda JC. But then Torino came with an equal offer. I made up my mind, and choose Italy. And it was a good choice. I'm 18 years and after 5 matches I'm a valuable player for Torino, from now on in the starting line-up. They play uefa cup and are a lot smarter than the players playing at Vitesse. I really love this mode, great concept! All the matches are played on top player.

been playing 6 almost seven seasons now, i started off at man city and im a SS but they were playing me CM so i left there in the first half wasy point and went to everton who said they would play me AMF and CF but turned out they just played me AMF which annoyed me, so again i left and went to Tottenham who played me CM i didnt like this but i though i am missing out on alot of experience keeping havng to break into the team, so i stayed for 3 seasons and it really brought my game on , hint for everyone as said before if you getting first team and u r rubbish still, stay with the club. After 3 seasons Bologne in Italy come in for me and offered me CF and SS, so i went to Italy got 3 goals and 2 assists in the first half of that season and then Lazio came in with SS and CF, played for Lazio for a season scoring 7 goals and 2 assists, and then finally Juventus came in for me and i scored 12 goals and 3 assists in my first season for them and im still not rated good just ok. So for all those in teams who are rubbish just get good ratings and try and get on the score sheet and u will go far, Juventus are brilliant and instead of my team mates making the mistakes like with the other teams, its me who is losing the ball now, but im playing good and getting most impressive player for almost every game, my best moment so far is when i got a brace against Milan, or in my second game i come on at half time and scored in the final minute against Marseille to win the game BL is the greatest, i seriously haven't played the game controlling all the players yet hahahahahaha.

first of all thanks cktje.
And i'm glad i left it on default then cause i didn't really know where it was for.
I figured out lately that you can play BAL with a friend so i do that alot of the times cause like everyone i hate when your running in a free space and you want the ball that the COM is giving you a bad pass or not even a pass at al, so now my friend is controlling the 10 players on the field and i just play as me! for me i think that it makes BAL even more fun then it already was.
yesterday i played for a couple of hours without taking a break and i started of in the match a few times but it didn't seem to matter if i score or not i still get pulled out the game even though i ain't the worst player in the field on that posistion, but yesterday i was giving the trust of the "coach" and i made 2 goals and 1 assist en they let me play the whole match i was so happy, cause it's the true meaning hard work definatly pays off.
my first season i finishd 6st with vitesse but i won the cup tournament so i thought it was resonable good for my first season, i still hope to get scouted for a diffirent league like premier league of the spanish league but we just have to wait and see.
I did get a offer at the end of my first season from fc nantes in the french league but they didn't do that great and i thought it was for the better to join my current club feyenoord.
and GRAND_BURREL thanks for sharing your mistakes and info about switching clubs to often and your expierence.

Is the growth curve for all the BLM players the same cuz I created two players and saw both their curves and they looked exactly the same, even though one of them is in his 6th season and the other is in his first.

ye its always the same, the only difference being that sometimes the curve starts at a different height.

ok i got a question...has anyne created a Welsh player on BAL yet? if so, can u be called up to the national team? the reason i ask is because i saw a note saying that only certain nationalities can be called up. Surely Wales will be one of them??

Oh and you can do 2 player in Become a Legend Mode: Follow these instructions; (BAL = Become A legend)

Turn on console
Sign 1 controller player 1 and another controller player 2
Controller 2 signs in as the profile with your saved data of BAL
Controller 1 dosen't sign into any profile
Use controller 2 to press start at the PES Menu, and load your BAL on controller 2
Start game and controller 2 should become your specific player whilst controller 1 will be the rest of the team

Sometimes it works, sometime it dosen't. Fact is that it does work. Hope you have fun if theres more than 2 people in your familiy that loves to play PES instead of taking turns in your BAL. :)
